haha, white lightning... thats a poor mans drink!
Yeah, but at 15 i got to keep the cost's down!
-
Try all are you posting for Eric? he's always getting pinch flats

You need to have your bike nearly vertical, so you have more control. And i find you use your lower body to shift your back wheel round and your front should follow, push the way you want to go using your feet, at the same time turn your upper body round I wouldn't try for ages trying to do it, and as someone said, it will just come naturally to you as you keep riding.

I think either a new bar and stem, zoo risers and echo team stem feel nice on a t-pro. Or new forks as the onza ones are very heavy, i suggest Echo lite forks Echo lites on tarty
-
Echo forged cranks, Echo Isis BB, Try all freewheel. Reasonable price, and they feel very nice.

White lightening! gets me wrecked, cheap cider ***

Hello Corn on the Cob...den (personal joke).

Has everybody gone to Chelmsford?
Yeah i have ordered it, read the topic/post's i went for the Adamant A3 Long.
I don't have a clue, but i cant ride till i got my frame anyway so..
Oh Charlie when i get my frame, if i bring my little camera out can you film a little video of just me?

S'alright ive just brought the Adamant A3 Long. Cant wait
-
Im not sure if a long will feel to long, if you know what i mean, i want something i have a lot of control over.
Nah Zona Zip all the way.At least go long, it is a MOD after all.
Nah a Zona Zip is too long for me.

I started on a t-pro and i couldn't think of a more reasonable bike to start on. You can pick them up at a decent price, with Magura's.
As for the age, don't worry about it, your starting a wicked sport

Look to the top right of the first post and you will see a box with "options" written on it. Click that and choose standard display mode form the drop down box.
That should sort your problem out...
Ahaa Thank you.

In the topics i realized that the post's are listed underneath the first post, and you have to click on them to view them.
What are yor views on this? i really don't like it.

Adamant A3 short for the win. I prefer it . But yeah overall they are very nice bikes.
Right i have been persuaded, the Adamant, now its a case of long or short, im 5 6''?
-
I think its out of a Zoo python or the Adamant A3? really don't know
-
As i said in another topic, EST is bulls**t.
you are on a T-Pro that is a longish bikeTom a T-pro really isn't a long bike, some lighter forks would make a big difference to the front end, you will realize once you take them off and feel the weight of the T-pro ones . But Charlie i don't think it necessary to make upgrades when you haven't learnt the basics yet.

It is worth getting an Adamant A3 instead of an Echo Lite if you really have to choose between the two. The A3 is made from Ultra 6 alloy, which has a higher ultimate tensile strength than the 6061 T6 that the Echo Lite is made of, therefore the A3 is bound to last longer.
The extra length of a long A3 over the Echo Lite (which in itself is very short), will have advantages, such as leverage for gaps and so on. The Lite would probably bunnyhop better than the long A3 due to its shorter wheelbase.
However, both are good frames, with the Adamant being only £80 or so more expensive. The A3 also features the in-built brake booster so that's another plus over the Lite meaning that buying a seperate brake booster isn't as necessary.
Hope this helped.
Chris
Thanks big help. I heard someone say that the A3 is a bit heavy? is this true?
-
Haha this is funny, EST sorry i just think it's a load of bullsh**t.

I've already got you added to Msn, i was talking to you about buying it yesterday.
-
cool Video and I'm actually in it i play 1 part but yeh i think the winter ride was better aswell
hi marcus what frame are you getting? and how much did you sell you t-pro to coutney?
Yeah I'm getting an Echo lite, but I'm not sure any more. I sold my T-pro to Courtney for £70
-
New forks definitely, makes quite a big difference i think. I've just brought the Echo lites on Tarty £70, love them.
-
Back to the topic, im un decided between a Echo lite or a Adamant A3 long, or any other suggestions would be good.

I have the same problem with ISIS I have put a bit of acryllic on the thread of the bolt and it stays in for a bit longer (it works the same as lock tight). I have to get a new crank to stop it completely.
You have to tighten cranks lots or they will come loose.
Lol i cant believe Cycles UK advised you to use nail varnish.
