  1. Not in anyway shape or form trying to be an asre, I just really hate the word "newb" or "newbs". Its so degrading, and to be honest a little childish. -Lee
  2. Hey, I'd say yeah you should have a try at it, I'm a big fan of stock... it's a little harder to ride but you can pull off bigger drops (if your into that sort of thing). With stock you can use the bike for other things not just trials, with mod you can only really use it for what it was designed for (trials). -Lee
  3. Its very illegal also... :Guidelines: The Rules in a Nutshell * No porn * No warez (illegal sortware, talk of any kind) * No flaming
  4. As you do I've never actually knocked myself out.... hopefully i never will, doesn't sound like to much fun. -lee
  5. Hey all, This probably sounds a little morbid, just wondering whats the worst accident you've had? (whilst riding) I think i'm one of the lucky people that has bones that just wont break, not like i want them to break or anything..... (i've always wanted a cast though... ) The worst accident I've had whilst riding has got to be when i was about 12 years old. I was on my friends bike which had disc breaks, tried to do a little endo but not being used to disc breaks i went over and the bike flipped and hit me on my head. Wasn't as bad as it might sound. Went to the hospital and got my head glued back together. Other than that i've never really hurt myself whilst riding, Just lucky i guess. How about you guys? (this is the time to score some man points )
  6. Really nice video! You have a very street style of riding.... i like it. Keep up the good work, also that song was so amazing so i blame you for me spending a whopping 33p downloading it!
  7. sounds a little far fetched in my opinion, Well I've never been to france so i wouldn't know... Are the police over there really that over the top? (if you was joking, then i am to........ )
  8. yeah i agree with Barber, It's more about having the strength rather than height, even so i have a few "weedy" friends that ride stock and they do it just fine... so...... ok then its varies from person to person... . If i was you i wouldn't let your height or your strength stop you having a try at it. -lee P.s. like it was said before 5ft 8" isn't small, considering average height in the Uk for an average male is around 5ft 7" - 5ft 9"
  9. yeah sorry :$ i was expecting people to know which bike i was referring to.... but your not all mind readers out there. http://www.bikefilth.com/ProductDetails/mcs/productID/1587/
  10. hey everyone, i'm planning on getting a Giant STP tomorrow, thought i'd try venturing into a more "streety" style of riding. I was told by a friend that there a pretty good bike and are only around £250 - £300 so i figured its a bargin. Anyone have any experiences with these bikes, good or bad? thanks, -lee (any input would be great help)
  11. yeah point well taken - just letting you know i wasn't saying it to BIG L as a retorical question trying to say i'm annoyed because i'm not a full member or anything i was genually asking him the question i've only been hear like you say about 25 hours, so i have no right to moan or anything.
  12. does it not anoy you Big L when you've made quality posts... then you have full members that post things like the above.....
  13. lol i take it you misspelled things then and used incorrect english as a joke then...
  14. I have to say Danny Foster is the funniest person when approached by any 'authority figure'. Riding with him the other day and some guy came out of the building and said; Guy: Get off! Its private property and I'll call the police? Foster: Are you the manager? Guy: Yes, I own the place, now leave before I call the police. Foster: Are you hard? Guy: What? Foster: Nothing Guy: Move! Now! Foster: I'll one bop you! funniest thing i've heard in a while.... that makes me sad i no... but it just made me giggle
  15. right welll that about cleared it up for me thanks alot!
  16. Just dont understand why you guys want people to type out the posts a certain way and what not.... seems a little wierd to me. Also why do you have the validated system that you have? is it to make the full members feel more supior to pre-members in there own sad little way or something? if not correct me by all means i just don't understand what the site gains by this??? if this question has already been posted i'm sorry before i get told to use the search bar....
  17. I've been around a few forums now and i'm sick of people saying things like you need to spend about £500 - £1000 for your first bike.... for one most people out there don't have that much money to spend on a bike, well most of your out there don't even have £1000 to your name (not calling any one just saying a fact). Theres always christmas to get a bike right? but thats just under 5 months away.... and are your parents really going to pay out £1000 for one bike? didn't think so (this isn't an opportunity for little shits to state how much money there mummy and daddy spend on them at christmas... so don't start). So yeah... you want to start trials, don't want to spend £1000... heres a list of bikes that do the job just fine from £199.99 which is hardly hitting the bank. Saracen Mad 2 Six Bike (2006) link to bike Price: £239.99 Saracen Mad 2 Six Hydraulic Bike (2006) link to bike Price: £399.99 Saracen Mad 2 Zero Bike (2006) link to bike Price: £199.99 Saracen Mad 2.Zero Bike (2005) link to bike Price: £199.99 Saracen Mad 2.Six Bike (2005) link to bike Price: £199.99 Saracen Mad Team Super Pro Bike (2006) link to bike Price: £999.99 Yeah there all saracen.... but its just a make... the only people that care about the make are the sort of people who brag about how much something was and shit like that.... Plus for now your just starting out so think of it as just a "taster" bike... if you take to the sport and like it alot then go full out for an expensive bike. http://www.winstanleysbikes.co.uk/ - bikes from theres more on the site just take a look. also http://bikesandprams.co.uk Saracen Mad Team Urban Bike (2006) link to bike
