You must be doing something wrong 'cos I run mine on a smooth rim most of the time: Awesome. And also on a dead grind for doing comps on: Awesome.
same, phat pads on smooth rim always been sik... your brake bled adequately? if they used then they may have worn un evenly and dont brake flush? or maybe they just need a right good clean?
did they work ok with who ever you got them off of?

anyone mentioned leeson? the old 660's were awesome, i know they aint gettin built anymore but theres loads kitting around still... or if you wanted to roll 24 then you have loadsa options, the new 24bikes goodboy is hitting production (steal tank)

balence, tone, muscle memory, timing etc... when i started breakin i fort everything looked hard, but when you drill certain things for long you suddenly get it, like with trials your mind suddenly clicks and you feel how it should feel... i didnt watch the first vid but when with jck hammers its all in the spin and then your other arm keeps you balanced, they surprisingly easy to learn

Fun. It's just weird trying to get used to it being a stock, pretty much. The Atomz is reasonably mod-ish anyway, so it's quite flicky. Stocks are laugahbly easy for gaps compared to mods though - pinching the edge of gaps is way easier, and they just fly. It's good!

Honestly, this is so stupid.
15 years ago, all mods had seats.
10 years ago, most stocks had seats.
Now, virtually none have them because we've progressed.
In 2009, all 24" bikes have seats.
How long is it going to take for people to realise, that having something you can't sit on, adds weight and gets in the way is nonsense?
Perhaps in 2020 we'll finally be getting 24" bikes without seats. But then 22" bikes will be introduced and riders will have to wait till 2030 until they come with no seat post.
lol, i use my seat all the time, its alot better then not having one, and heavy bikes are good becuase you get hench!

ive got a gig tonite, will try and come out afterwoods if you guys are still about
