i personaly would go for either the slacker or the identity , the reason i would stray away from the p1 is because specailised jump frames tend to be heavy and also the components on the identit are alot stronger than on any of the outheres because it is stocked with halo and other parts .
how you could say the identiti is lighter than a p45 i dont know, p45s have to be the heaviest uglyest frames ive seen in my life.
go for the P1

If your cassette is digging into riding xc you've either got a sh*t cassette or are incredibly obese

whatever he does i wouldnt call it trials, firstly hes on a mongoose thats more of a jump bike. then hes obviosly going to be doing bunny hops and manuals and shit. which i see as a more bmx/street bike kinda thing
whoever wrote that article is a tard and shud go and watch dani comas rather than a guy on a green bike with no brakes and calling it trials
personally i cant see how you call it trials. competition trials is "real trials" if you like, and id love to see him do that with no brakes on a mongoose. i mean wtf!
GET A REAL BIKE (preferably with brakes)
edit: btw, MBUK are f**k tards aswell. why the hell even make that article
thats the reason i even posted in this topic lmao.
mbuk suck!
I know as it may come as a shock to some of you guys with pink rims and yellow xc hats but trials isnt just sidehops and taps,
How would you define trials. I reckon getting over obstacles without putting your feet down is the most basic description. thus if thats what he can do he is riding trials. just because its a different style dont mean it isnt trials. I bet when street riding started alot of people shunned that but now look at it.
and finally mbuk are not f**k tards, they do their job very well, which is attracting young kids into mountain biking. I dont like reading it but it doesnt mean it sucks. I know if it werent for them i probably wouldnt be mountain biking.
I reckon you need to stop being so narrow minded and look at the bigger picture

I think the reset looks a lot nicer than the inspired, and im sure the attention to detail / build quality will be better, weather its £100 ish better i dunno, will prob last better for sure.

Anyone know of any good ones?
cheers

so ugly it hurts

what like , say, i put my mums old chip fat oil in?
will that be good?
sorry :$ im just a newb.
doubt it as that will just seperate. you can use cooking oil as an alternative to magura oil though
-
putting any liquid in water will drop the freezing point make sure it mixes with the water though not just seperates.
-
shit and gernally bad for trials?
NO
just not designed for hooking walls which doesnt cover the whole of trials. Im sure its alot better for some trials stuff than a frame with a stupid + 50bbrise. But apparently nowadays a frame has to have a bb rise, loads of cnc bits and no seat to be classed as a trials bike

4x is the way forward for strong wheels

fair enough, theyre your forks
-
most pointless topic ever?
-
Is it really worth it just to be able todo barspins nd whips. You could have at least drilled a hole in the steerer above the stem so it wasnt under stress
-
uh?
your star nut aint fixed in your fork
-
i drilled a hole in the steerer tube of my forks below the stem, then cut a groove in my spacers so the cable can go in and roots down inside the steerer tube to my front disc. then i use a long linear slic cable for the back which i can get 3 complete rotations out of with the brake still working perfectly(avid ultimate)
drilling a hole in your steerer. That sounds like a pretty bad idea to me
-
you obviously have not seen it done in front of you then. Tis f**king ace.....
i disagree, especially on a mod.
the hydro gyro is called a trixer i believe
-
if your on a bmx
-
Dont see why you would really want to do it,
If you do you need to run the front cable/hose through the steerer and long rear brake + gear cables
-
Nice pikey audience with the dog.
Also try using the fastest shutter you can with your flash to stop bits going see through like the back tire in the last pic
