  1. Made a mount for my camera this evening and tested it on a short route near my house. I put it a bit too far back and my knees going up and down at the edge of the picture is quite annoying!

  2. frame might be too long on the tt. are you using riser bars or drop bars? Get a frame that fits properly and use proper bars to suit said frame.

Cheers mate. How do I determine what size frame I need? Searched but I can't find a proper answer anywhere.

  3. Sorry its not trials, but I ride trials, and this is me riding... :shifty:

Been riding street on the 24" recently. The idea was to make a really nicely filmed video, but I hurt my back shortly after starting filming and I can't ride my unicycle for a while, so I decided to stick what I had together.

    Enjoy,

    Edd

  4. After getting used to the fixe for a few weeks I took the brake off and have been hacking to and from work on it. I learnt to skid about 2 weeks ago and ever since my lower back has been hurting. Its not too bad after a day or so of rest but when I ride my unicycle it gets really painful, REALLY quickly. Like, 5 minutes of just riding/hopping about leaves me in agony.

Anyone else experienced this? Im trying to work out whats set it off. At the moment its looking like its skidding the fixie thats done it :(

  5. Vegas will cope with *.MOV files fine, as long as you have the right codecs installed.

Download and install VLC player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/) and FFDSHOW (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/ffdshow.htm) and it should be able to cope with pretty much anything you throw at it. I haven't come across a format I haven't been able to edit with this setup yet.

Edit to say: Converting software is horrible, ruins the quality of your raw footage and just bloats your computer. Avoid at all costs, far better to use the right codecs instead.

    Hope that helps :)

  6. Im well into liquid/liquid funk etc.

At the moment im loving Hosta (), Lenzman, BOS, Memro, Drifta etc.

I find the best way to find new stuff is get yourself subscribed to a few decent youtube channels. You have to wade through a lot of shit to find the good stuff, esp with UKFDrumandbass, but its worth being subscribed.

A few decent channels to get you started:

http://www.youtube.com/user/MrSuicideSheep - By far my fav channel atm. Uploading some bangers atm

    http://www.youtube.com/user/pandadnb - Uploads decent mixes

    http://www.youtube.com/user/Seenesoust

    http://www.youtube.com/user/TehBassconnection - Another fav

Few tunes im listening to at the moment, absolutely loving remixes for some reason :turned:

I hate it when people assume you like Dubstep just because you're into DnB. I hate most Dubstep!

    Good luck, enjoy! :)

  7. The CREATE is still going :turned: BB's making a bit of noise now, but still runs ok. Changed the bars and took the brake off at the weekend. It was a bit scary coming to work this morning, but I'll get used to it :)

  8. I bought a new frame for my bmx and I bought a 19mm BB with it. The crank axle I had on the old frame were a weird size unique to wethepeople at 20mm. Instead of waste money on a new set of cranks I mounted the axle in a pillar drill and using a file, took 1mm off of it so it would fit the BB I bought.

Still working fine to this day :)

Also used a piece of seatpost cut in half lengthways as a shim to hold some slim bars in a stem. Got a random bit of metal as a shim for the seatpost on the unicycle atm. Cut the arms off the spider on a set of hussfelts and re-drilled the holes so I could fit a smaller sprocket on them. Old bits of tyres taped inside another tyre to cover holes. Derailleur cable tied to the chainstay to make a tensioner. The list goes on!

Jeez, just realised im a bit of a pykie!

  9. That looks like a truly amazing place to be at that time, I would imagine it's pretty humbling and self reflective too?

Extremely humbling. I honestly think that single moment has changed me as a person. Makes me look at the world in a different way, my attitude towards people, everything.

  10. When you are somewhere so truly amazing that you can't really think of a way to describe it that will do it justice.

I got a photo of mine. 5 in the morning watching the sun come up over the grand canyon. Felt like I was the only person in the world, work was a million miles away and I had nothing to worry about :)

Great fun around the bowl. Managed to get a pedal on the coping!

  13. Cheers lads. Been riding a couple of times on it and I love it! So much fun. Not much good yet, but part of the fun is in the learning :)

I'll probably put a shorter stem on it once I've learnt the basics.
