  1. RRP on a Monsterboy frame is £595. We have stock, but retailers do not. Who quoted £500? They made a mistake.
  2. Thanks, I would be grateful in you would let Joe know that we are looking for a Pilot, ask him to get in touch. Unicycles will be a new area, but initially the focus is on Trials models, Trials is an area I know a lot about, having traded for longer than any of the current crop of companies. Both Unicycle.com and Tartybikes do a great job in their respective fields, but as the K1 importers (along with many other Trials products), I think we should be able to be competitive. We bear the burden of a large stock of products and have decided that the time has come to enjoy some direct sales, through Trialsman. I truly believe the sport of Unicycle Trials is about to take off in the U.K. There is no reason why, with advice from experienced individuals, that a class for Unicyclists could not be created at BikeTrials comps.
  3. K1 There appears to have been a growth in interest in Trials Unicycles on the Forum, with a good response when Ride photographs are posted, K1 is KOXX FR’s Unicycle wing, they produce a wide range of equipment, including Trials Unicycles. In future K1 products will be available through our retailers, some have stock already. KOXX U.K. would like to offer support to a pro active Unicyclist, specialising in Trials. PM or mail us if you think you may be that person. CLOTHING In previous years KOXX and TRY ALL clothing orders placed for Christmas have been handled by Cleanbikes, that will not be the case for 2006. In future we will hold stock of popular items, but, if you have specific requirements and you cannot find what you want online please email us in plenty of time to compile the order. NEW PRODUCT. Now the wet weather has arrived I am sure many find that are riding with “twist grips”. TRY ALL has just released their “Lock All” grip which incorporates a sealing clamp at each end of the grip. The grips are only available in black, with a choice of clamp colour, as shown. [attachmentid=7653]
  4. The U.K. retail price of the 999 complete Bike is £695. It offers excellent value for money, the components are of good quality and the frame is even better. In my opinion Koxx have come up with a real winner. As mentioned above the frame retails at £185. It will be available in S, M & L, equating to full build wheel bases of 1040, 1085 & 1100. I agree that the geo of the frame is not “cutting edge” by today’s standards, but it makes for comfortable, stable ride. I predict a return to less radical designs, as many find frames with geometry intended for use by top international riders unforgiving. For the moment both Bike and frame are only available from KOXX U.K. Fred.
  5. Why? its the truth. There was no time to test the reliabillity before we set of to Europe, the action of the 108.9 felt very nice and the temtation was to use it, fortunatly four world rounds later the same freewheel is holding up well with bonus of zero negative remarks from customers. I know it probally sounds like bull##t, but I don't like to sell things that I have confidence in or experiance of. Fred.
  6. Sorry, its been hard to get your hands on a 108.9 as the factory sold out and could not supply. We have them back in now. They have proved to very reliable. Before the 108.9 was available I fitted W.I. to team members bikes, must confess I was a little worried about fitting a new product for use in the World championships, where reliabillity, or lack of it can have a big effect on results - but all went well with no maintenance required. Fred.
  7. The 999 YAABAA frame will be available soon for £185. It is in fact the once highly popular Mk1 1065 with a new finish.
  8. Our 1st batch of freewheels sold out very quickly, so did the factories! No problema at all with reliabillity on the 1st batch sold. We have been out of stock for some time but have them back in now.
  9. Knocked off? So now Koxx are stealing their own designs! The YAABAA 999 is the Mk1 Level Boss, with a different finish. In its day the Mk1 1065 was extremely popular and very reliable, the newer version never really took off. The factory had access to a once popular dormant frame, no R & D needed and fully tested. Importers around the World have collectively ordered a “large quantity” in a finish that costs less to apply than the original item, the result is a reliable frame with good geo’ at a very reasonable price. We will have them in about 10 days, pre orders welcome.
  10. To palce an order for KOXX clothing contact KOXX UK! Visit www.koxx.co.uk you will find links to KOXX.FR there plus our contact details.
  11. Cleanbikes have decided to concentrate on selling Monty cycles and parts, nothing sinister about this, Barbara and I will continue to work together on Trials events. Clothing and other accessories may be ordered or purchased from KOXX U.K. or other retailers handling products required including our own online shop www.Trialsman.co.uk which is live but still under construction. Call 07000 442232 for any information related to KOXX or TRY ALL products. Fred.
  12. Final British Championship positions and the results for every round may be found HERE
  13. We have 04 sticker sets on the shelf, pm or call if you need some.
  14. The final round of the British championships, run by EBTC at Hook Woods, was probably the hardest National competition ever held in the U.K. Those responsible for plotting the sections took the brave decision to lay out a varied selection of sections that were both long and hard. In my opinion, backed up by the marks lost, U.K. National riders were treated to an event of World round proportions. I would like to congratulate EBTC on having the confidence to set out a truly testing course. If there was ever any doubt as to who the best riders are in any particular category, Sunday’s event put proved it. I would like to offer congratulations to my supported riders; Robbie Peacock, Poussin. James Sheridan, Senior. Duncan Shaw, Elite. James Hyland, Elite. Wayne Mahomet, Master. Ben Savage, Master. All the above have ridden extremely well during the 2006 season, I consider myself very lucky to associated with all of them. Special congratulations to; Robbie Peacock, 1st in the Poussin category. I am convinced that Robbie will continue to enjoy success as he progresses through the Trials ranks. James Hyland, 1st in the Elite category. Ben Savage, 1st in the Master category. Ben has completed a dream double this year, both U.K and World Champion. As I’m sure those that followed him round at Sunday’s competition will admit, he put in a ride that was well worth watching. Ben’s final score over two laps was less than the first lap of his closest rival. Well done to all that contested the Championship series, especially those that survived Sunday’s event! Fred Savage.
  15. Ali C, I have to say I thought your ride on Sunday was amazing, really well done. The natural sections were very slippery indeed; marks could be lost any where. This years World champs has produced many fine results; Lois Morgan as established her self as a podium regular on the international scene with two fine 3rd places, and I am sure, better things to come. Gavin Bedford and Waynio opened a few eyes with their results in the first found, two Brits on the podium! The Expert class is hotly contested this year, I think cool heads will rule in the end as I don’t this a class has ever been so open. The results are full or familiar names, they look like they are from a British round. The Senior and Cadet class’ are swamped with talent, with familiar faces from around the World filling the entry. Brits in those two categories have done well to achieve their results so far, especially Chris Boyes, 4th in Spain but out of the French round with a cut foot. The two Elite riders are having a tough time at the top. Its early days for them, they are among the youngest in their class. The Master category is crammed full of experience, Ben has had a tough time dealing with strategies that lead to a winning score. At the first round Xavi managed to complete the course and win without dropping a 5 or cleaning a section, going for a clean proved to be an expensive mistake as the major obstacles proved to be “uncleanable”. Fortunately in France there were more things to have a go at, giving Ben a slight advantage. Saturday’s riders have also done very, with Sam Oliver just missing the podium in Spain and Tom Hyland suffering the same fate in France. Sam’s little brother Tom put in determined efforts at both rounds, showing great potential. Keep up the good work! Fred.
  16. The Joy of trials forum! Give a polite customer some friendly advice and suddenly your products are crap. So for the negative on here; In 2004 KOXX supplied me with some early ISIS cranks. The thread on RH crank did not allow a freewheel or fixed cog to be screwed on easily. Problems aside, Ben liked the shape of the crank arms, so I retained them for his use. I have fitted every bike he has ridden in the last two years with those cranks; they were not sold to the public. The result was that I eventually found a very simple way to overcome the problem; I passed this info onto a customer – simple as that. I have many “other” cranks to test, the freewheels fit fine, no problems. I have no idea why the thread on a well used Monty crank posed a problem, but the problem is solved. The good news is that the 108.9 functions very well indeed. I built Ben a V racing ready for the World’s on Friday, (complete with 2004 reject cranks), including the new freewheel in place of his trusted Eno. He tells me the greatest advantage is felt when you need an instant “second bounce” on a large obstacle, much quicker response with no noticeable free travel before pick up. The 108.9 is staying on, if he preferred anything else I would fit it. Fred.
  17. Full and final results seem to be a little slow coming through, that aside, I would like to say well done to all those that survived being cooked and then drowned all in one event. How unpredictable can weather be!!!! I felt sorry for the observers, most had prepared for a “day at the beach” – they froze when the storm came in. In my opinion the rain improved the sections, as they were on the easy side in the dry, that said wet laps were completed 0's, (I think), and 1's. Congratulations to Ben, James and Robbie for winning their classes, and to all those that survived the day. With four rounds gone and only Hook Woods, (final round), left in September the championship standings are taking shape and make interesting reading. If anyone out there is thinking about giving a National event a try I would urge them to give Hook Woods a go, it’s a great venue and the team running the final round can always be relied upon to provide good sections. Fred.
  18. Freewheels have arrived at last. I opted to have them delivered without the box and extractor, mainly to keep postage costs down when posting out. They have become a “must have” all over Europe, so the factory could not send as many as I wanted. If I make it up to Tykes at the weekend I’ll take some with me, along with a MONSTERBOY. Fred.
  19. Sorry for the delay. Arriving Friday. Fred.
  20. THESE Should arrive on Friday in a variety of colour choices for components, both full Hope and Magura.
