Whats the need in that, if you get a good grind along with some decent pads you should not need to use any tar. It is actually quite pointless using this combination, because people use grinds because it makes a brake work in all weather conditions, but when tar is used aswell it may work ok in the dry, but when its wet the tar will turn to oil ?, whatever tar turns into when wet, makes the brake worse. So you obviously don't ride in the wet, therefor you may aswell use a smooth rim with tar as it makes any brake work well. Anyway i don't think rock pads have been out for long have they ? am i wrong. If you want decent pads, i would recommend heatsink CNC reds, awsome in all weather conditions, with super bite and peformance, as you want, with out the use of tar, .
