  1. might make a appearance... SORRY just looked at the price to go on a train and wooooow its expensive
  2. I currently have just got a (GU SHORT) and i am loving it all the way...
  3. You can get the shimano dx cog in 18 tooth, which would be good for the back.
  4. I would recommend the 'Shimano dx cog', this is the best value for money you will ever find, £ 2.95, what a bargain! Here is the link : http://www.rutlandcycling.com/ProductDetai.../categoryID/138
  5. Don't, well its up to you, but i would definitely go for a Eno, reason being it is sealed. Although the 108 engagments is very tempting i must agree.
  6. Whats the need in that, if you get a good grind along with some decent pads you should not need to use any tar. It is actually quite pointless using this combination, because people use grinds because it makes a brake work in all weather conditions, but when tar is used aswell it may work ok in the dry, but when its wet the tar will turn to oil ?, whatever tar turns into when wet, makes the brake worse. So you obviously don't ride in the wet, therefor you may aswell use a smooth rim with tar as it makes any brake work well. Anyway i don't think rock pads have been out for long have they ? am i wrong. If you want decent pads, i would recommend heatsink CNC reds, awsome in all weather conditions, with super bite and peformance, as you want, with out the use of tar, .
  7. Agreed, maybe go for something like the "try-all" bb if you have ISIS : http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=10 or if you have square taper, maybe this : http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=9
  8. I'm sure that video has been out for a fair while now, or am i wrong ? But anyway... i enjoyed watching that video, although could have been a little shorter, but still enjoyed it very much.
  9. That guy never bothers to wear a helmet, don't know why, he just doesn't. His riding is very, very good though, the gaps he does are brilliant, hes able to just throw that bike around, it really is good.
  10. I really do like it, it rides beautiful. It feels very flicky when riding it, this helps me with a lot of moves, but mainly when doing front to backs. i hear that most people like the short version more compared to the long, im not sure if this is true, is it ? im just curious. oh and thank you for the replys.
  11. Hey my name is liam, im from the portsmouth area, and i ride a Gu 20" short. i have been riding for about 6 months and i have known about this forum for a while so i decided to join as i know a few riders on here, so i would like to get to know more riders. Heres a little about my bike, i have only had my frame for a few days as i have recently updated from a t-pro. Quick spec of my bike (GU) : echo easy forks, zoo bars and echo team stem, echo cnc cranks with eno freewheel, maggys front and back. I hope to get to know most of you on this forum. Cheers Liam
