  1. anyone no where i can get a head set and possibly a chain ring from in or around norwich as i dont no the city all that well. got another onza frame yesterday but headset setup is all different to my current one as seems to have cups already as part of the frame so the bearings dont fit properly. chain ring mgt be abit big aswell for new rear sproket so need one smaller than 16t

Theres a few bike shops in norwich city center theres a republic bikes near HMV and two doors from that theres cycles-uk and revolution cycles.

Theres one on the outskirts of norwich called manderin cycles there pritty good have a large scale of trials stuff from onza when i last went there and a few M.A.Ds.

I so want to come! will be so good if i can. Bike better be built.

  3. well im defo going, it will be well good people can help me improve :D But like laurence said are we aloud on the busses?

What you need to do is find out from a bus driver if you can or not i have a few mates who have takin bikes on busses before.

Sometimes they are ok with it if its off peak times i rekon but to make sure you could try asking a driver next time you have to catch a bus.

I take it theres no trains of the sort from where you are to norwich.

  4. I reckon we should ALL wear our tartybikes t-shirts (thats if people have them) and make a video too perhaps?

Sounds like a plan. Ill have a route round and see if i can find my camrea and Tom why not start up a list of people coming or possibles on the first post.

Lee said about it to me in a p.m i think theres a few from lowestoft that might be coming, ill ask the other riders round here to see if they

    are up for it.

  6. hi just seing if there are any riders in gt yarmouth who will be up for a ride friday late aft/evening?

il be driving from lowestoft so not far.havent rode here before so would be good to meet some locals to show some spots

    Hello Smithy

Theres only me and Scotty who ride and live in yarmouth but at the moment we both havnt got working bikes.

I you do decide to ride Great Yarmouth your best spots to go to are the swan pub near ASDA and mainly the seafront. Town has been dead for a long while now for riding spots.

We would be more than happy to ride with you once are bikes are sorted and also Margie and Lee should be up for most rides in Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Norwich.

  7. Yer missus if off to work at about 1ish so il be about after that if all good with you .

I can drop them off to you at one and i gotta shoot off after that for a bit of lunch.

If the weathers nice ill ride down to the skatepark near yours and bring the mounts and then ill pop off after that

and we can sort out a few rides once you have got your bike sorted i.e mounts ect tomorrow aswell.

    Biddle.

  8. BIddle mate that would be sweet as that would save me so much sweat and tears plus keep the missus from moanin about cost lol . You sure you dont want nothin for them happy to pay mate !

Na that's ok Scott what ill do is have a look for them in the shed tomorrow morning and i can pop them over to you if your in tomorrow.

  9. i run a single speed set up on the rear think il give chain reaction a ring and see whts up with the freehub body iv seen on there if not how would i take the old freehub body of my halo any ideas . and another thing mate cant buy or sell on here cause im not validated yet how do you get validated on here biddle hers the link to the freehub body see wht you think http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=25986

The freehub seems ok you just need to check if your old one has the same rachet system as the hope cassete body.

Best bet is to have ago at taking the cassete body off your wheel and have a look at what you have there.

Ill happly help you out as much as i can if you need any hints ill be on msn if not ill be on here.

  10. THx biddle il check it out and give tarty a ring do you have to buy the whole hub or can i get the body sepratly seen it on chain reaction cycles so aint sure

    http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...;category_id=22

They do the body shell and some of the pawls and springs but they dont seem to do the part where you would

    put the cassete.

Your best bet is to look into say a hope xc hub or mono hub on ebay or through the forum if your gonna run gears. If your

runing a single speed setup the hope pro to will be fine as the hub is made for single speed setups with a small size feehub.

The other option you could do is get a DMR hub and get a feewheel to scew onto the rear a few other riders i know have done the same

    and seems to work fine.

  11. Hi can any body tell me where i can purchase a hope freehub body from and if this will fit onto my halo combat rim as the bearings and pawls have died and given up on me thanks peeeeeeeeepss

    http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...category_id=148

Hey Scott you need to check how meny spoke holes your rim is so you know if you need a 36h or a 32h.

The other option is to keep a eye on ebay see if a full wheel build comes up.

  12. Your best bet Laurence is to go along to a few rides where you can see in person different types of riding and also its good to have

someone to work up to so you can learn different moves/tricks but also to evole your own stlye and technique of riding.

Aswell as Christophe said watch alot of different trials videos theres lots of different tricks and lines to learn.

  13. It's ok to sit if your free coasting or just sitting down in a stand still but the frame is two low to have the saddle at the lowest to sit down and pedal.

But with the seat higher it seems fine to ride round sitting down dose'nt feel to long, for trials riding stuff its spot on.

Been to the local skatepark and feels perfect for bmx type riding and trials its a little odd coming from a long wheelbase bike but i feel in more control

over this bike compared to other bikes and frames i have owned.

Thank you for the coments so far.
