  1. Yeah ive heard snowys are good, one of my mates uses them, i think hes in love with them, haha. how much are they? Any other options...? cheerz
  2. Good point, I always just wack mine up loads and then as i ride i let them down depending what im riding, either street of natural, I dont have a certain pressure, just whatever feels right. Just take a pump with you, then your always sorted! Ive got a 2.5 on the back, and ive found it has alot more griip than a 2.3 or whatever, plus they arnt that much heavier
  3. Personnally id spend more on a custom jobby rather than a full build. Building my own id want certain parts, plus you could set it uyp exactly how you wanted for riding. But the you could always start with a full build and just add custon bits. but if i had the money id go with a custom.
  4. Hi, Just wondered what the best pads to run with an 06 blue echo rim? Mine are in serious need of replacement, so any suggestions would be helpful. Also im a fan of tar so any pads that work with this are kool! Cheerz!
  5. Check out this link for info on the phase 1.3 http://www.evanscycles.com/dept.jsp;jsessi...c7?dept_id=4233. Personally I dont like the look of the phase 1.3, you could get more bike for your money by going secondhand and there are some quality secondhand bikes sabout, you just got to look. If you want a decentish bike for around that price go 20" they seem to be cheaper plus you can get a better spec.
  6. Who would you ride with if you could ride with anyone or any people for one day? Why? Id choose Ashton, just cause its him and so I could say id rode with him, Neil tunnicliffe so I could learn some pro gaps, and my a few mates so i dont look so bad!
  7. Hi all, just wondering how or if i can respray my frame. Does anyone know what type of paint Ill need and do I need to prep the frame before hand? Any info welcome. Cheerz Also does anyone know where I can send my frame for a decent respray?
  8. Hey man, good site for a first attempt. Get rid of the cheesey tunes though, lol, please! You should try and get some riders in your area together and put stuff like pics n vids of your areas riding etc... Also you spelt everything wrong Lol.
  9. I really like the creepy crawlers, which you have already, but monty tyres are pro! Id go with them! Im guessing youve got a 20". Check out cleanbikes.co.uk for monty tyres, also you can get the try-all ones on there.
  10. Hi all, just wondered if any one had seen the GET1 (glass eye trials) DVD and if it was anygood, ive heard a bit of hype about it, but just wondered if anyone had seen it or has it. There a trailer on this linky http://tv.isg.si/site/filebrowser/Glasseye...GLASSEYETRIALS/ cheerz all
  11. dont know if anyones heard this one, hey never mind... I man comes back to work to find what looks like a sandwich on his desk. After looking at it for a while he realises there are wires sticking out of it. He sits down and thinks about it and decides to phone the police... Police man: hello sir whats sem to be the problem Man: theres a sandwich on my desk and i think its a bomb. Police man: how do you know? Man: im pretty sure it is, its got wires comeing out and im fairly certain really Police man: well is it tickin sir? Man: noo it beef hahahahahhahahaha
  12. JUst wondering really, on the cleanbikes site, monty hubs are pro cheap like 20quid or something for a cheapish one and the frames like under 200. Just seems quite cheap to me for such a lush frame/part etc.. or am i just missing something??lol. opinions appriecated
  13. I'm not sure, depends what hub it has on the back, if its a single speed hub then no. mod mean modified i think, or 20" and stock is a 26". I ride a mission reefer 26", its a bit shit as im proper scint but im slowly doing it up and going to buy a new frame when i have enough money. I find is just as easy to hope on the back wheel whichever bike, but some people find it more difficult, but mainly once uve got hoping on ther back sussed then you could do it on either. I havent seen that dvd, is it the one with ryan leech in? if it is ive being told its good, but look out the his dvd called manifesto, its just a crazy vid to watch , check out his site and watch some of the teasers!
  14. Yeah sure. loads of people i ride with use single speed and they all ride street and natural. I think quite a lot of people ride single speed but I prefer gears just cos im lazy and cant be arsed to go single speed. You could alway put gears on anyway if you dont like single speed. i find it harder to ride single speed as i like to change gear for different things, but it has its advantages as you havent got a derailer to destroy, which is a pain in the arse!
  15. Yeah thatd look lush, My mate with the 06zoo has just got some green echo ones. You wana get down your local bike shop mtae, I'm sure theyd build you up a wheel, the one near me charges bout 30quid inclucing spokes n labour. Haha yeah everyones gotta start somehwere. i know someone who had a monty 221 when he was kinda just beginning, lush bike to ride, like a pogo stick on the back wheel, anyways, but yeah hes pretty good now so maybe having a decent bike helped!? Duno really, just know i wanted that monty! argh|! lol!
  16. Yeah good bike to learn on, I know a few people who have started with them and now there a bit to good for my liking. Watch out thou for cracks thou, but i think as long as you can ride it itll do. When i rode my mates, i thought was nice to ride n control on back wheel, thou bit heavy, still can aslways put some light wheels or parts on it. S'all good long as your riding with a smile! Lol!
  17. Nah man dont buy it, cos i want it, haha!! looks a bit nice though! Go for it One of my mates just brought the 06 frame, lush to ride, lucky c-unit!
  18. Hi, debating whether to get a dmr revolver rear cassette hub on some of the old echo rims (the ones with the dips/grooves in), which im gettin off a mate n are brand new. as I'm to scint to afford anything better and I'm quite desperate for a new rear wheel as i screwed my old one up. Any other suggestions???Im not the best rider so not bothered on proper good parts. Cheerz!
