  2. Nothing wrong with a rear slick, grips on rails and has never been an issue. As for the hookworm, you will never get a puncture again, 'nuff said.
  3. Absolutely cannot fault this bike in any way. Never thought such a high bb would be so suited to myself. Only work I have put into the parts in drilling the sidewalls of front rim, routing rear hose through frame with splitter, slicking rear tyre, sanding bars and striping front rim silver. 8. He was in a pompey vid but he's 100% british haha. And he's 17 not 13.
  9. He's a mint rider, especially considering he's only been riding 12 months. Keep your eyes peeled for him in the future, he'll be looking for sponsors soon enough.
  10. Hull just head down to the deep and find redbrick, whitebrick etc... loads to play on.
  11. Us boys will be at sloped walls at 11. We're just gonna hit up usual southbank spots as the lads i'm with haven't ridden southbank before. Might see you lot here and there though.
  12. Pretty sure we had a little sesh with you and andrew when we were last in london, can you whack me mr.terry's number as I lost the fooker x
  13. Can't do saturday as I'm working. Sunday, I'll be there
  14. Anyone game? Usual meet, sloped walls at 11 then either head down usual spots or if any of the locals come along head down to the estates.
  15. Ta for all the comments, got plenty to crack on with now. Some absolutely ridiculous ideas from some of you but hey ho. - Hack up the bash - File front rim to square holes - Drill sidewalls of front rim - Routing maggie hose through frame and cutting off clips - Drilling rear rim - Hacking the pedals I'm in the gym 4 times a week and have been for a year.
  16. How I missed that I don't know. That's my evening sorted then. Ta x
  17. For some reason I've got massively into tinkering with my bike in the workshop, sanding... grinding etc. I love how you can make a bike look/feel different without actually spending a penny. Bike as it is now But i'm wondering if there's anything more I can do to reduce the weight without spending a bomb? Edit: I know there's tonnes of topics like this, but canne find them on the search.
  18. This thread is balls. You're obviously not going to ride the top two, so why feckin bother asking?!? And if your bored of the Zoo then odds are you're going to ride the GU, so just get out there and ride it.
  19. Ta bud, not sure, it's fairly short though, so effortless for bunnyhops. And it's unreal on the backwheel. Yeah stupidly so. Have grinded the bash mounts down too. All adds up though.
  20. Here's my Echo Team. Long story behind this bike, bought it a few years ago, was stolen on my birthday back in 04, got it back 6 months later, sold it... bought it back a couple of months ago. Spent hours working on it in the garage, cut headtube out, drilled out mounts, grinded rear tyre, sanded bars and soon stem. Rides like nothing else, it's pure ease. Team frame Koxx forks King headset Try all rims on try all hubs Rear slick sticky Front hookworm KHE collapse Team stem Random risers stripped silver Front 203mm bb7 Rear 06 maggie, zoo lever, coust sinks, 74 kingz tpa, braided crossover, drilled mounts, ally bolts Tensile cranks Echo bash Tensile ffw
  21. Not a fan of the pics to be honest, he needs to vary the angles and just generally get lower. Nice one for actually wearing a helmet, though I agree with the above.

  23. ahh man wish i'd got this earlier!! what about sunday?
