  1. Well, it all depends on the old parts conditions. If you think they can still be used without danger for you the rider maybe you could keep them. Apparently you say that you like your old bike, so i guess you are talking about the frame and you just want to change the parts. In this case, you should weigh the cost it would cost to replace your old parts compare to buying thw whole new bike. Everything I said was based on my intuition and as the others members said, if you want good advices, you should first give better details about your issue.
  2. There is no specific rules for tire pressure. Usually the pressure should just be enough for you to feel the rim against sharp obstacles when you land on them. If you do natural, you might have to lower the pressure a bit because of the irregular shapes so that your tire will be wider. However, if you are more into street you might like to increase the pressure. Just look at Danny Macaskill.. So in short, low pressure means better balance, grip and rebound but higher risk to damage your rim and higher pressure is basically the inverse.. You just have to try different pressures and find what fits you the best. Good ride.
  3. Hi guys! I'm Ian and trial biking is my hobby since 3 years now. I started with an echo pure 04 riding most of the time alone in a quite small french town called Saint Nazaire. I learnt most of my basics on this bike. Then i had to move to the Philippines and it was more convenient for the shippment to buy a mod bike. I found happiness in a Zoo Python. For 2 years i rode in the Philippines capital, Manila. It was really frustrating because this area is really polluted and the hotness is unberable! Eventually, i was able to meet a group of local trial riders. The level was not exceptionnal but the most important is that we were all together to help each other. They helped me a lot to find the right spots because most of the public area there are watched out by gards.. I had a great time though living in a tropical country. Today, i come back in Europe for my study and i chose the city of Cardiff to take my civil engineering degree. I was forced to leave my mod bike back in the Philippines but it won't stop me to practice my favorite sport. According to the university bike club, there is NO trial riders here. Well, it won't last for long because Ian is in the place. Thanks, Ian
