  1. Hi!

Just bought a camera, so had to try to take some bikepix. Too bad its a old bike, but it still looks and rides good IMO.

My Koxx Karbon. Best frames ever, had one in 2008 but sold it. Regretted, and in 2010 i bought myself TRA's old frame.

Love the used bike look it have atm.

  2. Do chain reaction cycles not have middleburns? Plus there crank brothers headsets are on offer I think.

    Nope. They only have taper.

I will call LeisureLakes when possible though.. Can be funny with my good english.

  3. try cyclestore.co.uk they have all the shipping abroad prices on there site allready

You don't have what i want.

Going to order some middleburn cranks, and a CrankBrothers headset.

Can't find the middleburns anywhere else.

  4. Hey

I need some part from LeisureLakesBikes.com but they won't answer my mails, and i cannot order online because im from norway..

Anyone got experience from their webstore? Is stock info correct?

Sent them an email 10-12 days ago, no answer yet..

  5. Change it when i think " oh, what if the chain snaps now"

But somtimes, i trust the chain until it snaps..

My last chain, was a halflink wich TheKnut snapped twice (Norwegian guy, rode alot with tra before) used that old rusty halflink for 7months before it snappen when i was pedaling normal :)

  6. Its no problem to remove your Maggie mounts. I have done this on my inspired.

took the anglegrinder and cut it off at the welds. Don't be too agressive, because it can heat up and ruin the alloy. Making it crispier. (If your REALLY agressive, but i do not think it any problem) then its just to take the grinder and grind down the rest of your welds. Grind it as close as you dare, without ruining your tubing. Then use a file to finish it off smoothly, mine is not noticeble when it got paint over.

  7. i have tried tubeless on my previous bike.

Normal XC rim front, and a Schwalbe Furious Fred tyre. Trialtech SL and a Continental MountainKing Supersonic 2.4 rear tyre. A Scwalbe presta valve and the stans kit.

Cut the Scwalbe valve off the tube. had approxx 10mm of tube left just around the valve. Found a nut that fitted, and a washer, then tightned it until the rubber that was left on the valve started to pull troug. Just to absolutely get a tight seal there.

For the front wheel i used 70ml of liquid at first, filled the tyre to 60psi while rotating so that the liquid could seal everywhere. I then tapped out al the accsess liquid out. (Not a good idea, as this makes it alot more vulnerable) Rode with this setup for quite some time, until i rode natty one day and got a rift in the tyre.

With the rear wheel i used somthing like 100ml. The same type of valve as for the front wheel. Used some wide GOOD electric tape as rimtape. Taped two rounds with the glue down, to be sure that it would seal.

Tried it maybe 15 mins, the tyre was too light to be used for trials in the first place, and without a tube supporting, it felt horrible. The tyre got almost instant a big rift and the sealant could not seal it.

i think i'm going to try it again, but with decent tyres..Because these two i tried with, they weighed less than a rear tryall 20" tyre togheter.

i do not think a normal rimtape would seal at all. Any normal tape thats wide enough to cover the holes in your rim could be fine. I chose the electric tape because its easy to tape without getting folds and wrinkles that air could escape trough..

  8. How high is the Syntace stem and bar setup compared to the original Onza?

I'm considering the same stem and bar, but im afraid it will be to low for me.

And what angle is that stem? I thought 6deg was the only option?
