  1. haha thats random

nah my username is my initials.

silva v sonnen tonight! i dont like both of them so a double knock out would be nice lol.

although i can only see it going one way. spider by cocky too talented skill

Thought I'd reply here as not to fill up the rest of Tf with 'barbaric human cockfighting' bullshit...

Silva via flashy KO Rnd1/rnd2, or Sonnen via 5 rounds of laynpray Unanimous decision.

I Don't even know why I'm giving him a chance, because theirs no f**king way he should win this, yet the UFC hype machine has actually made me question what i know haha :( I f**king love his shit talking, but hes just not good enough to beat Silva. Bring on Silva Vs Belfort <3

I'm more excited for Nelson Vs JDS, actually...

Andddddddddddd, Alves vs fitch is going to be a fight of the year candidate, shame Alves missed the weight limit though. Kinda expected it with his track record tbf...

Guess we'll see if matt hughes really is as washed up as people claim he is tonight aswell..

Looks to be a decent card, which is never a good thing. The cards that look stacked with big names and big fights are normally the most boring where as shit cards with people hardly anyones ever heard of tend to be the best :(

  2. I agree.

As much as I hate him well done to Brock though for staying in there. If Carwin didn't gas himself out he wouldn't have stood a chance. Carwin was just looking for a way out. I saw the arm triangle a mile off too. I'm impressed with Leben he's not a good fighter but he's got heart.

Yeaah, I was sat here shouting at the tv as if he could hear me, it was an obvious setup and he should have seen that coming if he hadn't punched himself out. I think if Dana came out and said theres a rematch in say, 4 months time or so I think i'd probably still go for Carwin. He just didn't train for the right things. The official betting odds for this ending in a submission were SO low! I think he just planned on finishing it in the first and put all his eggs in one basket. I'm not making excuses for him, Brock won fair and square and I have a new found respect for him but last night showed hes not this massive powerhouse wrestler that NO ONE can defend against. Props to Brock, and Carwin!

I don't like Leben as a person, butas a fighter hes super entertaining. Still think Wand would murder him though. Sexyamas lucky it wasn't Silva, because he would have been brutalised if leben can do that to him..

KO slam was sick! Infact, the whole card in general was pretty sick. Deffinatly the best of the year regardless of the outcomes.

  3. After 2 of the slickest armbars I've ever seen in my life, and a beautifully transitioned trianlge choke to armbar they go and give Submission of the night to f**king triangle?! Thats ridiculous, possibly the most basic, un interesting and easiest submission there is.

Dissapointed he tapped, but I can see why. I think he DEFFINATLY exposed Brock tonight though. All it takes is a wrestling background and some sharp striking and the mans in deep, DEEP trouble; As show cased in round one.

Oh wait, isn't Cain a wrestler with some sweet boxing? Very impressed with the card, wish Shane had won though :( Dissapointed he got tired after the first, he should have trained for that. Especially at Greg Jacksons camp :S

Edit: That armbar Seth tapped to was brutal :o Still glad hes back in the ufc though, i find him really exciting to watch; win or lose.

  4. I have literally no idea how tomorrows gonna end, But i can't see it going all 5 rounds haha... I like carwin, alot. But i think hes been over hyped by the Ufc and isn't as good as they make him out to be. Still very good though, and has quite possibly the heaviest hands in the game. If one lands, it's night night Mr Lesnar imo.. I think brocks wrestling is probably better, but Shane's Tdd is top notch! I think Brock might of under estimated shanes wrestling, and as a result of that i don't think hes done much training of his back which i think might also play a part.. I just have no idea what to think about this one, I think size will play a big part as will brocks year off. Shanes going to be coming in at about 288lbs according to his twitter and lesnar 265lbs, but who'll use it better?

Carwin via rnd 1/rnd 2 (T)KO or Lesnar via TKO GnP rnd 1/ rnd 2- But i have no idea..

I don't think Werdum was actually rocked, I just think he had a brilliant game plan. Fedor actually began to buy into the hype that he was this unstoppable robot that couldn't be beaten and as a result, he foolishly jumped into the gaurd of a 3rd degree Brazilian Jiu jitsu black belt whos a multiple ADCC Chamion. If he'd of been a little bit more patient, he'd of quite easily outstruck him ont he feet. What a beautiful submission it was though! The way he executed it was just perfect!

Glad he lost, never been a Fedor fan personally. Not to say i don't appreciate his achievements!

Props to Leben for stepping up and replacing Wanderlei on such short notice too!

  5. Literally cannot wait for tomorow, can't remember being this excited for a card since I started watching.

On a 'none ufc yet still mma' note; Anyone watch Werdum vs Emilienko :o ?

  6. Thats just how the plate format is over here (In northern ireland that is, they're completely different from the ROI...) Nothing fancy...

Dads got L9O PER, which kinda looks like Cooper if you squint at it, alot. Saw one a few years ago on a Bentley or something that sad 'H8 GPSY', That amused me.

  7. Back in the day, Chuck was known for having an Iron jaw and being almost impossible to knock out. In the first fight with Rampage he took some f**king hard shots, and just carried on striking with him. He's just taken too much punishment to be a fighter any more, that chins made of glass and as soon as that gets tapped it's lights out for Iceman unfortunatly. It was kind of a bitter sweet for me, I didn't want either of them to lose because they're 2 of my favourites and also 2 of the all time greats that helped make the ufc, and mma what it is today. Chucks had a good innings, but sadly his times up. I'd love for him to keep fighting if it was possible to go back to vintage Chuck throwing crazy unorthadox combinations and knocking guys the f**k out, but sadly hes just gonna end up laying on his back now, and no one wants to see that. Especially not of someone like Chuck. Hopefully he'll be part of the Ufc for a long time to come, although in what capacity I don't know... Either way, guys a legend and deserves all the respect in the world, Props to Chuck (Y)

I f**king loved Barry Vs Cro-cop, Such a good display of sportsmanship and some crazy old school stuff being thrown by Mirko, just goes to show hes far from done and can still stand and bang with the best of them. Pats no joke, One of the best strikers in the HW division but he just needs to work on that ground game of his. I think Mirko deserved that Sub of the night bonus purely because he asked for it, as someone said on Tuf a few weeks back 'Closed mouths don't get fed'

All in all a decent card really, shame about Chuck though (N) 116 is going to be f**kING SICK.

Carwin via KO at 3.45 of the first round, you heard it here first folks...

...Or maybe thats wishful thinking. I see Carwin taking this via rnd 1/2(t)ko, or Lesnar via lay and pray decision/Mammoth smothering...
