to be honest it doesnt really matter.
personally i've heard of more freewheels skipping than hubs...
personal preference i suppose
-
i've jus heard about them skipping all the time etc.
my pro 2 has never skipped to date

well when he kicks at the pedals there would be less movement until an engagement point.
therefore meaning that it will engage quicker, making him able to gap a bit bigger...
but 2 foot?!?!
thats what i said

really is there any point in arguing with him, he's obviously not going to listen.
just ignore him. keep the forum clean, yeah?
-
fair enough.
I can see what you mean by them being cheaper, but if they break as easy as it sounds then you might aswell fork out for a chris king? or any decent hub such as a profile hub.

Is there actually any point in front free wheels?
I always read/hear about peoples freewheels breaking and constantly skipping.
Just get a decent hub??
Don't get as many complaints about any freewheeling hub.

I used to ride with no more than 15psi in either tires...
after pumping them up to 25psi + i find that i have more control over my bike.
Just experiment to find a psi you like.

I've recent got into trials and I bought a T-rex spec 1.
to be honest, its pretty damn good for the money.
the only thing which isn't too great is the bar and stem which are kinda uncomfortable

I'm sure he just got better through practice but if you say so...
well when he kicks at the pedals there would be less movement until an engagement point.
therefore meaning that it will engage quicker, making him able to gap a bit bigger...
but 2 foot?!?!

a try-all freewheel + fixed hub = about as much as a pro 2
