  1. Thanks for your replies ^_^

I have a pair of them. Though i thought they were HS33s, can't remember why i thought that, i think it actually says so though. I also have a 'Classic' kicking about somewhere with the original bleed and round lever blade. Mine had clear blue hosing :D
Actually, the guy I bought the bike from said they were HS33s as well so you might be right about that =)

  2. Hey I'm new to Maguras and I'd like to know what model and year my brake is. It looks old :P

And the silver-coloured allen screw right next to the cable in the first image above, what does it do? Is it the bleeding screw or does it adjust how close pads are to rim?

    Thanks in advance!

  3. thanks, im going to try track standing , but i can pivot to the right really easy, too the left it's a lot harder =(, thanks anyway :)

Yeah I have the same issue, I can pivot my front wheel to the right easily and my back wheel to the left easily, but the opposite directions are a bit harder. Nevertheless, it will get easier with practice! And if you haven't figured out already, it's easier to learn trackstand in a slight uphill, where you can use a little movement on the pedals to push your bike forward (or let it roll backwards a little), correcting your right/left balance while keeping the front wheel turned slightly to whichever side you prefer. Have fun ^^

  4. Hello, I'm Staffan from Sweden and I'm currently riding an Univega Tr620 (mod) which feels too small for me but was the best I could get for my money back in the days ;) looking around for a better trials bike but in the meantime I'm sticking to my good old Univega and my mountainbike. I feel like I'm much more comfortable on my mountainbike which is why I'd probably want a stock for my next bike :)

I'm 20 years old but haven't got any real skills apart from basic stuff that you practise on flat ground, although I do manage ~40" sidehop on a good day :)

I enjoy riding because it takes so much concentration and focus and lets me be in my own little world of me, the bike and whatever I'm practising. Cheers!

  5. Thanks for your replies guys :) I'm seriously thinking about getting a Phase bike now but I'd like to know what you think - Phase 1.1 or Phase 1.2 + 100£ to buy upgrades for?

And does anyone know if people that sell used bikes, on this forum for example, are willing to ship to other countries and how the payment can be worked out if it's possible between a private buyer and a private seller? In this case me in Sweden buying a used bike from a (for example) british buy on this forum, and it getting shipped to Sweden while the seller gets money from me. How would that work? Thanks again :)

  6. Hello, I live in Sweden and have been looking into a couple of topics on this nice site to get a better picture of what bike I should get. Right now I'm leaning towards an Onza Hitman, but since there are bikes not much more expensive and with seemingly better qualities I'd like some advice =)

I've been looking at the Phase 1.2 as well, so I wonder - is it much better than the Hitman and what are the main differences apart from the brakes? Are magura brakes hard to setup? I'm thinking of getting the Hitman partially because it's fitted with V-brakes, since I guess maguras are trickier and need more maintenance?

I'm riding purely for fun and the challenge, and I want a bike with a sturdy frame (Hitman seems to have a good frame?) and quality parts that don't break easily. I'm willing to pay around 400£, and since I have problems finding used trials bikes for sale here in Sweden (not to mention any that fit my needs) I think I'm going to go for a new one at Tartybikes. Is there any other good webshop that ships to other parts of Europe/worldwide?

So far I have been riding an Univega Tr620, way too small in my opinion with only 950 mm wheelbase (I'm 6 feet tall) but I've been learning the basics so, while I'm not especially good at anything, I know a bit about the moves and such.

Summing it up: Hitman or Phase 1.2 - differences, strengths, etc? Not new to trials but wants a good bike from a webshop that ships to Sweden, price ~400£. Tips on other bikes than the ones I mentioned are more than welcome also!

Any comments/advice are appreciated, thanks! ^_^
