I'll be keen to get a run out in my MK too Probably can rope in a few others too that used to be part of this crazy trials world many moons ago.

Time for a new dash.
Got an auto electrician to give me a hand with the wiring as I've seen the state of the existing wiring
But yeah, this will be fitted soon:
Quite different to the pleather dash I have currently featuring the original sierra dials ....

I only just spotted this, haha I wish there was fuel saving options - even on a gentle cruise I'm getting less than 20mpg I would say. If you're spirited, you can watch the fuel gauge go down while you drive!
At least you have a fuel guage

Yeah I posted in a couple of kit car groups and everyone said the same thing - they go fairly often. I haven't had a chance to take a look yet, but I suspect mine doesn't have a stop, the noise it made sounded like it hitting the floor anyway.
Once it drops below 30c in the garage I'll get upside down and have a peek
Depending how yours has been built, it's quite likely you'll have access to the pedal box from above. In mine I just have to remove 5 or 6 screws then I can look down on it from the engine bay Much easier than trying to squeeze into a footwell

@MadManMike those arches look so much better. Really not a fan of those old sweeping style ones (can't remember their official name)

Maybe happy isn’t the right word,
but I love the fact that British TGS hasn’t progressed that much and Damon just hopped on a bike again and is blowing every rider from the last ten years out the water*
*minus jack
Got any links? I don't watch much trials these days!

Nope... but I did cover my garage in these which gets around it
Comfier on the knees too

After waiting weeks for the weather to pick up and work to ease so I had a few days available I finally got my pull-up bar up and the door fitted in the back of the garage which makes me happy.
What doesn't make me happy is we had a new boiler fitted end of last week and I got a message off the wife first thing to say the heating hadn't come on, got home to find the pressure at zero.
Refilled the system but got to keep an eye on it now. If there's a leak it can only be somewhere downstairs under the floorboards but could just be air in the system somewhere still f**king it up as the pipework in this house is a joke......
Crikey what is wrong with a simple over the door one like everyone else in the world?!

At this point it's probably easier to change your name to be honest.

I have a converted short wheel base medium height transit. It's been bloody awesome to be honest. The Mrs and I have been all over the UK in it, but I also use it day to day at the moment and it's not an issue being a SWB - it fits in parking spaces.

What happened to your motorhome Ali? Always thought it was pretty cool you had one of them! Ideal for your riding vids

You should totally vacuum like you are mowing your lawn Lovely stripey rooms.
I wonder if I can persuade my Mrs to do that.... I'll probably get a slap I imagine.

I thought I'd post something nice and positive... I built some decking earlier this year. Never done it before so pretty happy with result to be honest!

I had a C Class estate a couple of years back, it was a 2011 350 model (think it was the sport or AMG trim or whatever it's called these days) and it was brilliant.
I only sold it because I get bored easily and fancied something with 2 seats again (despite having a kit car...).

We had a letting agent that claimed we didn't clean the house properly before we moved out so we found the photos taken by them before we moved in and they had even noted there was piss on the toilet seat. After reminding them of that they soon dropped their case.
That's pretty grim. What is wrong with some people?!

It was worth a try
I'm trying to arrange for some local folks to test out this kinda car on my driveway, I think you saw the post on FB - a local-ish guy has said he's happy to do it in his RH, so hopefully soon I'll know what I can get on the drive and into the garage. Realistically I won't be buying until July / August or maybe even a couple of months later, so no rush... Would be good to get one nearer the end of summer so I can tidy it up over winter if needed.
Yeah I saw that, seems ideal! Have a nosey at his car too (obviously you will - you're a car man!), will give you a better idea what to look out for when you do hopefully take the plunge!

If you want to sell it, just drop me a message...
Good luck with that one

Oh don't worry that's all going black as soon as I have time

I added stripes a few weeks back. Thought I'd add a pic
Personlised reg on it now too (didn't want to add it to the front though - boo!) so it really does look like a completely different car! Funny.

Looks like a lot of money for a RH with a pinto!
I paid quite a bit less than for mine with a higher spec pinto and mine's an MK not a RH....

Aaand another
(bonnet now fastened down...)
Thoughts on recolouring my alloys? I was thinking Anthracite but I'm not sure if I like the contrast that silver gives now...

If it's appropriate for an MK then I'll gladly join. Skipton isn't far from me either which is a brucey bonus.
