  1. Ok thanks i'll go ahead and re-do it then.
  2. I see.. Thanks Will I need to re-do the post or will it be coming back any time soon?
  3. Hi I didn't know where to post or who to ask about this to so if there is a correct place to ask this question sorry, I placed an add the other day in the for sale section and within abo ut an hour I had a reply which I replied to the following day and today I went to go back into the post and for some reason its empty the title is still in the for sale section and it says its had 120+ views and 2 replies but for some reason there's no longer anything in there to view the original post or replies??? confused????? I tried to view it on several devices but only logged in as me wont let me view it at all if I log out, I can view other peoples for sale posts just mine I cant see. Here's the post im talking about if anyone else could confirm they cant see anything too.
  4. Hi Thanks for getting back to me unfortunately ive only just been back in this post and seen the replies, Sunday just gone was bucketing down so doubt anyone was out anyway but im up for this weekend if the weathers ok. I can get to MK that's not a problem but week nights are a bit manic for me as by the time ive finished work and then done gym its getting on a bit and im then usually knackered
  5. Hi all Im recently back into trials so really Im just finding my feet and getting used to things again and its always easier and faster to pick things back up when riding with others so just wanted to know if anyone is about tomorrow anywhere that i can tag along with bearing in mind Im not that advanced so looking for things to learn on ie pallets and smaller obstacles and things. Traveling localish to me isn't a problem anywhere in a 20-30 mile radius of Royston Herts. Pm me if anyone interested.
  6. Yep its fitted and no leaks and locks solid with one finger with very little effort it's set up on a 203mm rotor, it came with a 185mm rotor but i already had a bb7 with the 203mm rotor so kept that instead. I was going to only run this till i came across a hope mini but im not going to be rushing to find one as im happy so far.
  7. Well after picking up my Ashton Justice a couple of weeks back i first set about neatening it up a little by spraying a few bits white and fitting some new rubber and i then posted some pics and got good feedback but was advised to change the stem and bars to lift the front end up and after riding the other day it felt like i was way to far over the front wheel so brought a new stem from tarty which arrived today so sprayed it up white and fitted it tonight along with my new rear magura with trail tech booster recently purchased from peggysue and my new front Avid Juciy 5 brought from Brettoll, thanks guys pleasure doing business., Here's a before pic of the old stem 125mm 5Deg rise: and the after with the new stem 110mm 35Deg rise: Thanks for the advise guys it feel much better.
  8. Great thanks for the reply, I'll keep it as it is then.
  9. Hi all I recently got back into trials after a 4 year break and picked up a Ashton justice mk3, i have a query over the gearing its fitted with 170 middleburn cranks which have a 16t sprocket fitted and on the rear hope pro 2 hub has 2 sprockets next to each other a 13t which its currently set up on and a 12t now it seems this set up with a 16t front is not very common but is there anyone using it and if so what size rear are you running 13t/12t or something else?
  10. Im going the other way, ive always favoured the magura's ever since fitting them to my first trials orientated bike back in 2000 (a Saracen X Tort) and never looked back so i'd have to agree with "Echo Lite 09" spending time setting them up so there spot on makes all the difference, i prefer the solid feel you get as a pose to the spongy feeling with V's dont get me wrong they bite as well as magura's i just cant get the hang of the flex in the lever. So im swapping out my rear avid single digit 7 calipers with the cnc backed pads and SD7 lever for a trusty old magura.
  11. Thanks guy's, I'll check them out, I'll change the stem first and go from there as i quite like my bars.
  12. Thanks guy's what stem/bars would you recommend? how much higher do i want to be going? Is this the sort of thing i need? http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_stems/vz_welded_2011/c41p11466.html
  13. Well ive been off the scene for about 3 years, i started out my trial riding on a second-hand Koxx Level Boss and after really getting into it i brought a new bike from Tartybikes it was a GU typhoon 08 before they dispatched it i had everything upgraded and i loved it till i obliterated my right ankle playing football and i had no strength in it so sold up and thought id never ride trials again but for the last year ive done a lot of work in the gym on strengthening the muscles around my ankle and i think its now ready to try again. So I've been looking round for a while and i found my Ashton on the forum for sale and snapped it up off Raggo, before i got it home i had already decided to change the brakes from cable disc and V to Hydro disc for the front and hydro rim brake for the rear that said i was very surprised how impressive the bb7 disc and single digit V performed but im still changing them, Im 50% there I managed to grab a Avid Juicy 5 with 203mm rotor off Brettoll which should be fitted next week when it arrives and im now just on the hunt for the rim brake. Here's the spec when i collected it: Ashton Justice mk 3 frame Pace forks with reverse mount Hope Headset FSA stem Onza carbon bars Middleburn cranks with 16 tooth sprocket DMR v12 pedals front viz disk hub and viz drilled rim front 203mm avid bb7 disk brake front Schwable black shark tyre rear hope pro 2 hub with try all drilled rim rear avid single digit 7 v brake with onza magura to v adaptor rear schwable space 2.35 tyre Here's how it looked when i collected it on Saturday: Ive since getting it made a few changes ive brought new tyres Try All Stiky front and rear with new rim tapes and i thought it had a miss match of colours so spruced up a few bits, i sprayed the Forks, stem and both rims white. Here's how it looks now: I had a question to anyone that might know is this a MK3 Ashton only reason i ask is it doesn't have rear disc mounts and ive seen some that do?
  14.
