  1. I ride a GasGas 125 txt pro 06 , that's for modern I also ride a TY Yamaha 175, can't remember the year it was made but that's for twinshock trials (old motorbikes) Here's a couple of pics and + Yes, that is me on the al' TY I ride in Scarborough for practice and pretty much anywhere around the North-East for competitions. Youth B, clubman course.
  2. Recently i was going far too fast, and for some stupid reason as I went over a curb I pulled the front brake... Straight over the bars and opened my eyes to find that my bike was laying beside me. Got away with a weeks worth of injuries, skin taken off shoulder and forearm, if I never rolled it would've been my head and that would have hurt even more! Oh and also my friend whilst we were out on the motor trials bikes was with me. I went up a slipply hill climb and he tried to follow, but he hasn't quite grasped the fact on how to fall off at the time . So he lost grip and came to a standstill on the hill, fell off and rolled to the bottom holding his hand shouting 'Oh my god' repeatedly. When my dad had a look to see what was the matter, there was a hole about the size of a fifty pence piece in his hand going through the muscle and tisue, and coming out of his thumb area. Theory was the clutch lever went straight through his hand as it snapped on a tree, he was rushed to hospital and got it sorted, that scar is going to be with him for life and it's pretty damn big!
  3. Be persistant, never give up just because you can't do it over night. Things take days, weeks, months. But the result is fantastic . Soft tyres get more grip in different areas. On a motor trials bike they want about 2 - 4 PSI , pretty soft but that's how you want it for grip in the mud and other areas. Hard is just for pavements, roads and average riding about, i'd reccommend for tyres to be on the softish side. Not too soft and not too hard . Don't get over-confident, can be a killer at times. Confidence is a good thing but if you get too cocky it could lead to you having some daft fall off that you'll sure regret. We must have all done something like that either if it's on a bike or just pulling some show off stunt to impress other people. Scrumpy
  4. Checked the chain over mate, it seems fine. Thanks for the suggestion though. to be honest once i buy this new tensile of tarty after my vacation i'll fit it and see how things are then. If it's solved then hoo-ray! . Btw can anybody tell me about derailleurs? Are they reccommended or not, or does it make no difference what so ever? Just curious because the ones i see on mod bikes often face towards the front wheel vertically, yet mine sort of faces down towards the ground (As seen in this picture) http://www.behindbarsbikes.co.uk/images/bi...g_teamurban.jpg. Should i just remove it, move it or just leave it be? Thanks, Scrumpy
  5. One word .... Amazing Enjoyed it alot, good moves and kept me will entertained
  6. Nice vid , Good music aswell I liked it.
  7. He must be very bored and have nothing to do with his life I guess? Yeah i like it .... Not.
  8. Wow ... I do trials with/without engine you name it, but motor trials in the streets like that is a little risky isn't it? I mean, if get caught you'd be fined etc wouldn't you? And yeah he's very skilled to be doing that sort of stuff.
  9. Ah i see, well that sounds good to me i guess.
  10. Gotta admit, as Callum said he'll regret spending little on something when he could have gone a little more out on something he'd thurelly enjoy if he got into riding. T - Pro sounds like a good starting bike aswell. Scrumpy
  11. Was alright... Don't know about the song at the beginning though it put me off a little.
  12. Found that pic on the internet but it's the same as mine. Saracen Team Urban. Will check tarty for that Tensile now thanks. P.S - Can i ask what you mean by the 'fastest validation ever!'?
  13. This is just a case of the rear cassete being a bit naf i think , i think getting a new one would sort the problem. Im going go from a geared one to a trial single sprocket aswell, i do loads of riding about but if it stops the delay in the pedal kicks then so be it. http://www.behindbarsbikes.co.uk/images/bi...g_teamurban.jpg = My bike.
  14. Not to get frustrated when i can't do something. I can pedal kick pretty well, but can't hop on the back wheel stationary with both brakes held in how bizarre
  15. Thanks ALOT for these comments, but i've noticed something that could be the problem. On my rear sprocket - It takes around 20 clicks for a full rotation, I was thinking if i had one that did about 40 or more clicks, it will more than half the amount of play? If anybody could reccommend a new rear sprocket that does the job like this please let me know it would be much appeciated.
