Hi, cool bike, get some pictures up asap Not sure if you know this but its best to take cranks off and tighten all the bolts on chainring and all other bolts, nowhere seems to do this right and it saves alot of time and money, trust me! Vee
I dont think i need a wider rim or tyre, probaly just run higher pressures but was just a thought as mod riders do it. But I was thinking if you inflate a tyre that big it would be fine to stretch 5 inches and would be alot thicker than the dh tubes you can get Vee
I've heard that people on mods use scooter tubes to help fight against pinch flats, so i was looking for a tube for a stock (26") but the biggest motorbike tube is 21". Would this stretch ok? because you can get them for 3,5" tyre which would mean supertough. Has Anyone here tried this or know anyone who has? Cheers Vee.
Would a motorbike innertube be anygood? I was thinkin about getting one after I heard about some people on mods using scooter innertubes, but the biggest i can find is for a 21" wheel, would it stretch ok? Does anyone use them? Cheers Vee
Haha why does everyone mock the driveway!!! haha ill take a picture of the whole thing if you like well tomorow. I was thinking about spraying the frame black, but I sort of like the old aluminium look with the left over paint that woukdnt come off on the welds and gaps. Vee
Alright mate, iv got some on a few frames around if you like? let me know Email me your address and ill get them sent tomorrow if you would like ross.howtallareyou@gmail.com Vee
HAHA I hear that alot I thought i better take a picture of that because if it was in front of the house or back garden people would only get jealous Vee
The last piece of my Limey came today! Thanks ALOT HeatsinkBikes!!! Let me know what you think to it, the pictures were taken on my phone so a tad blurry. Thanks Alot Vee
At the top of the thread there is a options tab to the right, click on that and then just under where display modes is highlighted click on standard. That'll change it to normal hope this helps Vee
well, if thats the intro to your bike then its ok but when its starts with the actual footage dont put the flashing in between take the first 30 seconds and put proper footage of after it and make it at least 5 mins long then it will be ok Vee
The Hi Roller is really good, i cant complain. Its has good wear rate and really grippy only had a few pinches but that because im using a innertube thats suppose to be for up to a 1.7 tyre lol And as its 2.35 it cant really be helped Vee
Dont bother with a grind, just get some good pads on a smooth rim. if your brake is set up well it should be just as good. and your pads will last longer Vee
You should try a half link chain, im using a reluctant half link and its strong as anything else. also the shadow v2 half link is suposedly really strong aswell. Hope this helps Vee
*** means For The Win If you click on my controls on the right hand side, then on the left side down the menu it should say edit avatar settings click on that and you can put a picture up Hope this helps Vee
Im stupid, i thought that the size 68 and 73 were the thickness of the bottom bracket, not the length of the shell, so i was getting paranoid about the right size as i ordered a 73mm before haha so at least now i know it will fit a 68mm ill go on the hunt for 1 on monday hopefully the bike shop will have a 68x127.5 in stock
