ahh see this is my claver plan, ill put bin bags round the dirty bits and wrap with my clothes! and handluggage for the rest of my clothes, i travel light anyway now iv gotta try n find the suitcase
if u need convincing ak anyone who has ridden my bike or my mates bike! cousts are really loud if u want them to be! and the super stiff! and only 15 quid once uv got the backings!
well on thursday i fly out to spain for a nice holiday and it hit me, i just might be able to get my bike in my suitcase! if i take it all apart it might just fit and iv got a 20kg weight limit on the suitcase so all should be great! HOPEFULLY!! would be great if i can!
mine aint average weight, its got a fair bit of heft to it so think ill just drill the front rim n new innertube at the back maybe new rim and spoke at the back to
what do you mean a radial pattern? the pig dh pro 2 is sealed?? and theres no way im drilling the bash! looks to sexy but you know your stuff, i really want to drill the front rim that should shave a few and wont cost im fairly sure there are alot lighter stems about as i bought this because it was insanely reduced in price and i had nt alot of cash thanks alot mate ill look into some of this!
haha, nah has no felt the weight of fattys?? theyre light as! made by canondale niked by ashton and coped by orange i think now im not drilling at all! lol id drill the wrong bit for sure and itll just snap! rim is fairly light compared to most on tartys i could stick with this build and then on the next ill build super lightweight and id be able to jump millions of feet! hahaha
this is what i was thinking, but if i take the wheels off it still seems hefty compared to my mates, and he got his fram eoff me and it was hevay when i had it and real light now he has, he has the same forks and middleburns so im not sure
basically my bike has always been real heavy and im not sure why, i dont use heavy parts but it always weighs a ton compared to my mates basically heres a spec front- hope mono on mavic ex721 fatty r forks viz max bars yeti lockon grips maggies with czar levers and splitter on rear planet x stem pig dh pro 2 headset adamant a2 frame some shimano un52 bb heatsink cloud9 middleburns welgo pedals 24-7 rear rim hope pro 2 trials hub maxxis minion dual tyre on rear an cheap ass tyre on the front 3" downhill tube rear and cheap tube on front what would eb the easiest way to make it lighter but the easiest way and cheapest, like on a car the more horsepower for pound sort of thing thanks for any help Vee
lmao, i thought id nakered mine today bad, before the jerk/skip thing i put the wheel on and it completely locked up like a fixed hub, no movement at all took the thing apart and realised id put the spacer in the wrong place haha
iv had a hope for nearly a year never had a problem except i was testing out some spring bending and errr well 2 snapped so theyre being replaced, if you can get a king second hand for about 80quid do it if not the hope is loads cheaper more reliable and easy to fix im not saying that kings arent great but i know someone who goes on and on about his king and its slipped the most out of all the hubs our group rides and sounds like a dying bee but the engagement is real intense
have you checked your chain for a broken plate or anything? i had a similar problem today couldnt work out what it was for ages then saw one of the plates had snapped causing the chain to jerk chain didnt snap though haha and i was riding normal (quite harsh) just a thought mate
im gunna collect some of the best trials videos, but i dont want youtube video quality i want full quality vids anyone got any links theyd share with some? people like, TRA Danny Mac Damon Watson Neil Tunnicliffe etc..............
