  1. Python definately my brother's mate had a PR,it snapped under the down tube and the geo was all wrong. The only advantage that the PR has over the python is that it has a rear disc mount but you can always make a mount for a python.
  2. Hi, I have printed out the rules so I have a hard copy, it's all common sense really though to be honest. I have been riding for about 2-3 months now, I am progressing quite quickly now because I ride with my brother and Ryan Trickett all the time. Ryan is currently 2 points in the lead in the YMSA Championship on the Blue route, but he has missed 2 events, he is going to red next year and my brother is riding blue. I might be riding white, you never know.
  3. Yeh it's sweet now, apart from the disc rubs. I'd much rather have the Echo, I've ridden both and my brothers Echo was defintely nicer than the Monty. Oh and for all the people saying they'd rather have the Monty for comps because it's lighter? It's not really. According to TartyBikes it is 9.425kg, well my brothers bike weighed in at just over 9.5kg. Just. So the weight isn't really an issue. The geo is also quite similar, the Monty feeld like it has a relatively high BB rise and feels shorter, (IMO), even though they measure very similar. So you can get them both double disc, they both weigh almost the same, and they have quite similar Geo, but they ride very different for some reason. The Echo is much stiffer IMO, you can really fee the difference when riding each bike, so this might be why the ride so different, I don't really know.
  4. Hi, I just joined so I thought I'd post a topic to let you all know who I am. My name is Wilf, I'm 12, and I ride an Onza T-Lite, I'd post some pics of it in the bike pics thread, if I could, which I can't. How does all the other newbies do it? My brother posted some in bike pics a while ago though, clickey HERE. I'll be getting a new bar and stem for Christmas, those pics are a bit old, imagine it with Echo Lite forks and you'll get the picture. I ride with my brother and his mates mostly, he's El Muelio on here, he's off to Bracken today for a practice but I'm busy like. I might be making a video soon, I'm a bit shitty though. I almost got up 4 pallets the other day though, my back wheel hit the edge and then I slid down to my bash. That's it really, ask me stuff if you want, I don't know if there is much else you'd want to know.
  5. Ryan your vids mint, it really shows your own style and shit. I might be making one soon, I'll probably wait for a bit, because I'm getting better so fast that by the time I have collected enough clips to make a vid out of, they're all out of date.
  6. Chris, your a legend! They look fairly square, so I'm guessing they feel like the new HS33 lever, but wider. EDIT: I'm El Muelio's brother.
  7. Probably the Onza, my brothers mates felt really heavy, I think they are about 10.5kg. Tarty Adam's Czar is 8.4kg and is very similar to Dave's, Dav'es isn't "lightened up" as much, so it might be 9-9.5kg at the most.
  8. This is for bike trials mate, try trialscentral.com.
  9. My first bike is a onza t-lite and I am still riding it. Great bike to ride, Very short and lite.
