    Mod Tyre?

i ran maxxis' front and rear for around 2 years on my T-Lite, never found them not grippy enough, i was shite though. My brother always said a monty rear and try-all front was the best so thats probably what i would go for now. Wilf

Awesome video, you ride like you should ride brakeless Wilf
  5. I have a set of Halo 26's on my dirt jump bike, they are really good except there very very heavy, my rear is 1.8kg along witout a tyre and tube, i wouldn't have then if they didnt come on my bike, and i would have changed them if they weren't Purple apart from that they are pretty good
  6. Magura Louise FR 2006! Best brake ever and you can get them new on ebay for £65 with a 180 rotor Wilf

    Simoncelli - R.i.p.

Ive only watched Moto GP a little this year, i watched some of them at the start of the season. I really started to like Marco for his riding style, challenging the front runners right from the start, he was a bit to aggressive at times but that brought excitement in. What a massive loss, he will never be forgotten. RIP
  10. I reckon thats more of an XC brake however the 2006 Louise FR is awesome for trials! I had one on my T-Lite for about 3 years and it never failed, never even had to change the pads and once they're set up right they have tonnes of power. Best disc brakes i think.. Wilf

    Trek Jack 2.0

Hello all. A lad i know has just bought himself a Trek Jack 2.0 dirt jump frame, he's got no idea about what it is so he asked me... i also have no idea... I know its a dirt jump bike and by the looks of the pics it looks alright but i can't find any prices or anything anywhere, just wondering if anyone has any info etc on them? Cheers guys Wilf
  13. Ahh okay guys, just wondering really, my favourite front brake is a 06 Magura Louise Fr, never tryed one on the rear but im sure it would be awesome. Wilf
  14. Hello, i just got back in to Trials since having a 2-3 year break, ive followed the new bikes/parts vaguely. Just wondering what everyones take on the Echo disc brakes is? Just to build a bit a knowledge, that is all. Wilf
  15. I dont think it looks to bad, but floating rotors? no no. Wilf I dont think it looks to bad, but floating rotors? no no. Wilf
  16. Just ride along with your brakes on, heat them up like crazy and they will stop making the noise. When they stop making the noise stop and put more water on them and do that like four times, then they will sweet and giving you maximum power. Wilf
  17. i do them on my DJ bike, i cheat by using the rear brake but it does meen you can go for ages and it looks good. I also find the faster you go the easier it is to an extent, and slightly downhill, always helps. Wilf
  18. If you dont want to use the ACS for anything else, just chop it off with an angle grinder, works a treat!
  19. Just about, slow as shit though
  20. Same as above, rock blues on a very sharp grind. I have onza citrus pads they are quite good but they wear down very fast.
  21. Welcome to the forum mate. As said above, don't change bikes just yet, learn the basics first
  22. That is one of the nicest bikes i have ever seen.
  23. What rear brake are you going to put on it, I guess it will be a mono trial
