  1. Maybee your aunt could go biking with me some time! lol
  2. It could work, although the bolt could snap due to not enough support from the block
  3. It's called a blocky thingy, anyway do you think worth getting a new frame. The t-pro is nackered as it is.
  4. Ok the picture should be in my avatar now, there may be a time lag , does any body know how to add pictures in posts
  5. how do upload picture to a post , sorry all i get is "Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed"
  6. Il try and explain. See the 2 raised bocks welded on the frame on my avatar. The four bolt clamps do not reach across to the onther block. However I have four holes at the back( right side only) two on the raised blocks welded on and 2 lower holes in between them. I need a block to raise one of the inside holes so the four bolt clamps will reach. Get me? Look at the bike in this picture http://www.onza.com/bikes/stock/traptorle1600.jpg I have the same mounts as that and notice it has maguras on it which do not reach across.
  7. I cant feel it at all when bolt tightened it just makes a loud noise, I can only feel it when bolt loose Look at my topic on my mounts the brakes won't fit on them http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....p;#entry1394342
  8. I have got an old onza t-pro model (2002 I think), its one of the old ones so I need some sort of block to fit maguras. I am in the process of fitting hs33s. I was wondering if it's worth buying a new frame, which is enviable then fitting the brakes on to that. The only problem is that I will have to get a need isis bottom bracket because I had to like hammer mining in the first few threads, and I don’t think it will come out. In short- shall I buy frame now and buy new bottom bracket or shall I not get a new frame at all and just get some blocks to fit maguras. O yea and another problem I have is my bb/cranks make a clanging sound when they go round. I have a monty ISIS BB and Zoo cranks. When they are tightened up they have no feelable movement, but when the nut is out there is a tiny bit of give in it. Do I need new BB or cranks?
  9. I'm from Amersham which is quite near High Wycombe and I have a xbox live account (ibi123). When I have my bike in working order I may be able to ride with you. I may be able to teach you a thing or two. I can pedal kick comfortably so I can teach you that.
  10. You can't make a sweeping judgement like that. Just because your mate snapped his it does not mean that they are easy to snap or it has a weak frame. I think the T-comp is a great bike to ride what ever your riding level. Though the T-mag might be a good option if you decide not to go with the T-comp. Both great bikes, in the end its your choice.
  11. That was an amazing video the riding along the wall was immence though the thrusting at the start was a bit weird lol. Well done
  12. Lol I guess they guy above pretty much summed it all up. LOL. Do you want to be like my style guru person. One thing you did not think of is what if he had no arms then he can't wear gloves can he, no so HA
  13. I think you should get an isis BB then get Zoo CNC Cranks. Avaliable from www.Tartybikes.com
  14. LOl I have some zoo ones on my hub and I was like, what are these useless pieces of metal? So I took them off threw them in the bin and putt on my old chain tug Tensioners, simple and easy to use..
  15. I can see why that might hurt LOL. how did they like fix it, Pins or did they like glue it back some how.
  16. Has anyone ever like properly broken their leg while doing trials?
  17. Comp specific frame lol what is that soppost to mean, that all comp frames snap after three months I think it is bad workmanship on Onza's part. Try a t-mag frame instead.
  18. I have a try-all and its fine. Never had any problems with is, I’m guessing a rim without drilled rims is going to be stronger you just have to find the right balance between strength and weight. Andrew
  19. The pedal kick is rather a hard move to explain. You kind of want to be on the back wheel with the back brake on then lower the front wheel and do a small 1/4 pedal stroke with your front foot starting at about 1 o'clock and do a small rear wheel hop at the same time. As soon as you have done the pedal stroke lock your rear brake again ready for the landing. You may have to experiment with the size of the pedal stroke so you land on the balance point. I hope this guide may help you, I learned to do a pedal kick by watching the Ryan Leach instruction videos and the website www.trials-online.com Andrew
  20. ouch that muct have hurt so much, I bet you did not try that one for a while
  21. Brienzer , my recommendation is to get a helmet and like the guy said in the previous post something that covers the back of your head. Do not buy a second hand helmet as the structure could be cracked inside resulting in little or no protection when you fall off. For footwear I would recommend some trials shoes from TartyBikes or some sort of skate shoe. They provide the best grip on caged and pinned pedals. I would not recommend wearing gloves while trials riding as they make the grips seem smaller and harder to grip, although this is just my personal preference. If you were to get gloves make sure they are thin material and not padded. You also may want to invest in some shin guard as they stop most typical injuries. Football shin pads work well for me. Hope this clears some things up for you. Andrew
  22. where? I so need a new frame My 2002 onza t-pro is not exactly the bestest of frames lol. Post a link please.
