well what to to is take your front wheel off, then get a screwdriver and stick it up the steer tube from the bottom and put pressure on it to hold the middle of it inplace and then unscrew the bolt. don't know if it will work but its worth giving it a shot! OR could you not hammer it out from the bottom so the bolt, top cap and star nut come out as one then just unscrew them both? Austen.

yeah it happened to me, just hammer out the old star nut with a hammer and screwdriver and put a new star nut in? there only like 50p from a bike shop! Austen.

loosen the the stem bolts at the side and tighten the bolt at the top and that should fix it, unless your headset is a bit dodgey, its worth taking your forks of to take a look

we dont have diggers so we have had to build the jumps by hand which takes ages! but its worth it yeah my bike is single speed, can't be bothered with gears because they just brake. did you spray the bike yourself?or buy it like that? i was thinking of spraying mine black then buying gold dmr graphics for it, not to sure though Austen. the RRP is £500 and they gave me spare brakes with it and stuff

i dont use the dmr for trials, use my mates bike for trials i got a super stomp 140 x Thats it there ^ Austen.

i have a super stomp 140 pit bike, and ive had shots of my mates motocross bike and yeah jmps are also good on them!

my seat is only like that because it is rounded so if its not at that angle it moves about, and i dont have money to get a new one! and no im not queer.

i cant really do trials at the moment because i dont have a trials bike yet, so i can only do trials when im out with mates who have trials bikes. cheers for the comments so far

alright guys and girls! Thought i'd introduce myself to everyone! Im called austen and i'm 14. i'm new to trials, i got into it while out riding, and i met up with a few trials riders in the Inverness area. i currently don't have a trials bike, but hoping to get one in the summer time, so i thought i'd sign up to trials forum as away of learning about the sport. I have read all the rules and regulations of the site so i know all the do's and don'ts, and i will keep to the rules. anyway, hope to make friends with some of you on the forum! Austen.

48hole! thats crazy! my Mtxs are only 36hole! i used to have halos but they just kept cracking and they are quite heavy!

oh haha my bad! how did you manage to rip your headtube off?

175's on a dmr! i think ill stick to 100's dont fancy tearing the headtube off mine! yeah my mate has a revell and its well nice.

i used to have 80mm forks on it but the bike felt too low, so i upgraded to 100mm! yeah the cranks look really long, might get a shorter pair. Austen.

yeah i agree with ross, ive had my goodridge hose on my Dmr for nearly 2 years, not had one problem with it, def get one! Austen.
