  1. Thanks a lot for the site! That makes things sooooo much easier. I would pay the 170 euros my self if I weren't 1000 in the hole without a job.

Do you have a video where you take all your very best riding from all your videos over the years and make it into 1 edit? That would be the best video on earth

  2. Unreal! That was incredible. That is like national geographic and pro trials together. Too bad that was so short. I would love to see TRA ride a forest with bigger trees where their is huge fallen slanted trees and big branches that can support a bike. Still is amazing what he can do with so little to work with.

That looked like Scandinavia. All Scandinavian forests are good for is black metal videos.

  3. super sick riding! That was nuts. I thought of something funny if someone has a fixed gear does it still count as brakeless? Anyways that double gap was so awesome. Perpetual acceleration hahaha

  4. John Webster is really famous up here. Haven't seen a vid of him in a really long time though. As I remember he wins every comp. Great video. Filming, editing and riding were as good as it gets. Would have liked a bit more street though.

  5. I have seen the peg through the bb thing before, but at what point does a bike stop being a bike?

TRA seems to dominate chainless trials, thats gotta be a LOT harder than brakeless trials for sure!

that is a good point if your bike doesn't have drivetrain then its basically a scooter. I think that is the only difference between a bike and scooter.

TRA should make a chainless and brakeless video would be really interesting to see.

  6. if you were chainless you could have a peg going through your bb instead of crankarms. This would make your feet absorb shock a lot better since neither would be in front I think you could bunny hop much higher like that. Also you could run front hubs (non drive) in the back saving some more weight. But yeah eliminating crankarms, bbs and pedals would also save massive weight. If he had a freecoaster it would basically be the same I think. No point running drivetrain if you don't have a chain. Its like running a full brake set up and taking only the brake lever off your bike. As for trials... I think you could actually do a lot if you were chainless but have a brake. You could abukaba gap things but without brakes or chain not much option??

  7. I love my fat tire though. If I put on a fat 20" rear my bb and droupouts would go up too much. Also my brakes wouldn't work with a 20" rim. I thought profile hubs were cnc 7075? Maybe that was just the axle. I am sure its the flange size cause the other flange has 0 cracks and its the way higher stress flange. I wrote a letter to them, I said they need big flanges on both sides and to build a driver with 5 more pawls. Their is about 8 other cracks on the same flange which are unrelated to the big one. Its gotta be the design. I don't think the hub is all bad it just needs 2 small revisions. The bearings are smooth and don't loosen or tighten, its light weight, and no other problems with it other than occasional skip which could be easily fixed as well without even making a new hub. If only their was a 116 hope

  8. The big problem with up to fronts is if your front wheel doesn't get over the ledge you are screwed for 2 reasons

    1) your body weight is far forward

    2) you will flip over the bars and hammer your face into the ledge

One trick that really helps learning them is to hit it on an angle, this way if you mess up you don't risk getting hurt badly and what is better than that is if you can do a small spin like a 45 while hitting it straight on. This also makes it a million times less scary and will allow you to nose pick over the object if you want to. For going super high I am not sure if its better to hit it staight on or not I am not an expert at it.

  9. Being almost 2 years old and being subjected to all those spin tricks, I'd say it's done very very well!

I know its comparing apples to oranges, its just almost every part I have is over 2 years old and holding fine. Its cracked in 9 different places after close inspection. I really don't know why they don't just use even flanges. Actually I think I do its so you can use the same length spokes?? Still I am going to send a recommendation to redesign their hub. The other flange has 0 cracks. The irony is I also spin to the left so the spokes on the drive side take all the stress from a landing so if anything the other side should crack first.

  10. +1

profile said they would give me one for free so it looks like that is what I am doing just cause I am tight on $$ now. I would prefer a different hub cause I hate using parts that break. Its poorly designed the small flange on one side concentrates the pressure too closely together. Big flanges are much stronger I think. I have had this hub about a year I think. My echo I have had for 4 years, it has massive flanges and no snapping. Its a front hub though so its not a fair comparison but the profile did snap on the small side.

my rear hub snapped doing a nose manuel, I need to buy a new hub but I don't know what is good. Profile is very poorly designed as the smaller flange concentrates pressure closer together. Main problem is I don't want to have to buy new sprokets and cranks and bb using a ffw. I want to use a rear freehub. I would rather use a trials hub, I have used my echo for 5 years and never had a problem but all trials hubs are ffw these days. I could also run a rear freewheel on a fixed hub but then I still need a new sproket and I might have to but like 3 to get the right chain tension. Anyone know a lot about bmx hubs? The only other ones I know of are odyssey and g-sport. They both are really heavy.

  12. I can do trials but I am not very good I would say I am very average. I can side hop a little under bar height, up to rear a bit over bar height, gap a bit over a bike length, up to front a bit under bar height etc etc... I wouldn't mind featuring a good pure trials rider in one of my vids on the same bike, but I think quality is more important than variety. Everyone knows a zillion random tricks but I think some just look better than others.

  13. Thank you!

The stadium part was actually real, Gorez just took the original clips from TV and made it look cooler than it actually was lol

Story: I had an appearance in a german TV show watched by like 12 million people.. I had to gap 50 rails (25 in a row twice) but unfortunately I had issues pedaling up the first one in the show whereas it was pretty easy in advance when testing it under normal conditions. In the end I ran out of time due to the first rail but I was surprised on how the audience liked it though :) After all I got the third place out of six in the rating which was even better than some other "bets" which were actually won by the candidates :)

wow thats nuts I just assumed it was fake because you said it was a really good editing job lol. Such great riding keet it up!

edit: oh and great editing too lol

  14. An antitron is an atom of antimatter. i have confrimed at this point antitron is not an actual scientific term. Antimatter destroys matter. I guess its an appropriate name but the origins are totally random. I just picked it because it sounded cool many years ago.

  15. Awesome job! That was really great. The backwards manuel to manuel to gap drop, and the very last line were my favourite I watched the last line over and over a bunch of times. Love watching you guys ride every line is original and unexpected. The only thing I have to complain about was the filming in that 1 clip where you hopped up that ledge. It was really hard to tell what was happening but what could you do looked like the lighting was just bad in that spot. Wish their were some 24 riders up here.

  16. Alright I managed to get 2 hours before my camera ran out of batteries. I spent more time standing in the wind time lapse than I did filming the riding XD. I even took the time to actually edit the video. All filmed on a tripod with no cameraman. No fish eyes, no stupid camera angles. You see what is there. Enjoy!

I am happy with how it turned out for what it is.

  17. antitron 5 is still another 1.5 years in the making...

On the plus side I was able to film a proper video today. (I had a good 2 hours before I ran out of batteries XD) so I will post that in a while

  18. Haha, you can find anywhere to ride even if its a flat road :P

    2 things...

    :helmet:

    +

    What frame is that?

It is the antitron frame that I designed. (built by speedrace)

Its great I have been riding it for a year its really strong.

Provided I can get over 5 minutes to film I will try to get a real vid today
