  2. Hi

Iv got a laptop and a while ago i put Windows Millenium on it. Problem is the iR isn't working anymore.

Iv been through all the disks i got with it and couldm't find the drivers

The laptop doesn't seem to be made of any company (no branding)

So what could i really do?

    Thanks

  3. If I could, I'd hunt down the "designer"* of the ODI Rogues and beat him senseless with his own product.  They are the most uncomfortable, stupidly thick grips I've ever used.

However, the Lock-on version shouldn't be thicker, 'cos they take out the necessary amount of the soft innery bit, and replace it with a rock 'ard plastic bit, which forms the collar of the grip.

But yeah, thin grips dominate.  Go for the Monty Foams (cleanbikes.co.uk), or the Renthal (I *think* NSE do them) or Azonic/O'Neal (most Azonic retaillers) style grips.  Swish (Y)

*I say "designer", but to be honest, I think I could've made a better grip by shitting on some bars and making a mould of it...

    Mmmm corky grips

  4. looks nice  :-

i was thinking about building my mad up again just for the memories :)"

only thing id do would be to put risers on it as i found mine was 10 times easier to ride without the mad flats  :-  other then that maybe a smaller cassette to shave some weight but other then that   long live the mad's  :D

He has a shimano sora short cage on now anyway, he is getting rid of his echo bar/mad stem for some riser bars aswell

  6. Pretty much all of the iPod range are WAY over priced, and are actually much worse quality than people think. They have the highest failure rate per thousand of ANY mp3 player on the market, they have less features than other players, and cost more. So... are they really worth paying more for? To be honest, they'd be worth paying less for.

As opposed to an iPod Mini, you'd be far better off with a Creative Zen Micro which has 5Gb capacity, is more sturdily built, sexier, sports a much better battery, has more features and can even record live radio. Not to mention it is also much cheaper.

My iPod mini lasted me....wait for it......16days!!! (Y)
