  1. Im trying to change my display name, but it does not allow me to do this. I can enter the new name I want, it gives me a green tick to say its Ok,I then enter my password, but it then comes up saying I can't do this.

    But why not??

I have checked the help section but this does not help, is it just me being a fool or is there more to it.

    Any comments may help.

    Thanks.

  2. Hope you like

  3. At the moment I have an 18t on the rear and 22t on the front, but out riding on Sunday I just couldnt get enough power through the pedal kicks.

If I were to get a 17t would I notice much difference or shoud I just go for a 16t?

  4. Are yuo sure its the hub skipping and not the chain jumping the cog or something, if its skipping when just pedalling around then more than likely it isnt the hub, if it skips when going for a gap then it will be the hub and by taking it apart youll proberly find a broken spring which are cheap and easy to fit. If its isnt the hub then it will either be chain line, worn cog, chain tension or not enough chain rapping around the cog.

It was deffinately the hub, you could tell when riding with him yesterday, Also further up in the topic he said he found it was a boken spring.

  5. Thanks!

hope it does the job! :)

nice riding with you! shame i couldnt do much cos of my hub! *sighs*

I know what that feels like, when you get it sorted will have to have another ride.

Dont know when i will next be home though, June at the latest i think.

  6. Take it apart and give it good clean, check that nothings broken. If its still slipping then get a new hub it will only cause more problems in the future.

You dont want to lose confidence or teeth as a result of a dodgy hub!
