I have snapped a couple of sets of the yourself replica bars, but I still use them now because I like the way they feel. My Levelboss 1065 has lasted for ages, no cracks, no problems, I sold it to a mate and he's had no problems. Thats taken a couple of hard knocks, survived the baggage handlers throwing it at Gatwick airport.
I think koxx make strong parts for their weight.

Why spend money on diesel. If your going to do thatyou might aswell buy magura mineral oil.
-
I would put my name down for it. Quite close to home for me

am i the only one who still thinks a compact road cassette and a short cage xtr/dura-ace mech is totally hawt?
I was going to use Road cassette and short cage mech on my new bike, but everyone seems to be running single speed now.
Nothing wrong with them, its just that guy had a massive cassette and a normal Shimano XT mech.
-
Jesus... look at the size of the cassette you had on that. OLD SCHOOL!
-
Roadies only get run down because they wear too much lycra and shave their whole body to save weight!
-
Really good vid!! Looked very painfull when you did the gap and your crank snapped. AAAHHHH

Come to think of it I have a DS1 sat in the back of my shed back at home, must dig it out when I next go there. Its set up for street/jumps.

trials is cheaper???
i dont think any sort or ridng is more expensive then trials
must of spent over 2 grand on it
A decent DH bike will cost more, so will a road bike.

Its a great looking bike, Your one lucky lad!
-
Looks good, I like the colour coding.
-
DMR V8's, very good reliable pedals, grippy in the wet too. Wide rage of colours to choose from.
-
They are pretty beastyyyy looking, but look like they weigh the same as the rest of the bike.
-
Don't know if it's already been mentioned, but magura HS11's for trials!!!

I know a couple of lads that ride the 06 control and they love it. Cant really help with the other points, but it is a good frame.

Legend!

that wont be the only little modification i make..
What else do you plan to do?
-
Throw your weight forwards towards the bars as you gap.
-
I agree it would be more individual than not to do it at all, but if your at a ride where someone else has it done, your no longer individual. If you want to try and stand out from the crowd, I dont think drilling the headtube is the way.
-
Awsome riding, loving the big gaps to front wheel, and the gap to the ledge on the wall.
-
Well i want my new bike to pretty pretty individual, and light, but i dont wanna get silly.. BUT a hole in my headtube would be kool:P
How would it be individual by cutting a hole in the headtube, its already been done, and it also wouldn't save that much weight.

I currently have a czar but I wont be in a hurry to go out and buy one of these.
Its a bad move by Czar!
