Ah sorry Ive confused you. I havnt got a pro 2 yet, I was just wondering if it would fit my frame.

Basically at the moment I am running QR but I want to use a pro2 with a beefy axle.
So I was wondering if there is an adapter to get my frame to take it.
Will I have to resign myself to QR?

I have a brand new Pro2 axle which will do the job, it takes 10mm bolts

Erm...well here's a Bore tool..and the trials one fits the Moto V2 calliper too. Sooo I assume they;re the same Pistons? Couldn't see any hope trial pistons when i searched.
How badly are they scratched? Maybe polish them out?
Ha ha, no need for the tool, I took your advice and pikey'd it off with my bb.
They're pretty well gauged, they deffo need replacing.

I'm by no means a retard when it comes to mechanics etc, I just wondered if it was straight forward enough to get stuck into without specialist tools etc.
I cant seem to find a "How to" guide, I've checked the Hope site but didnt find anything.

I use a trialtech forged stem and rockman bars, i ran tryall rages before and both make my simtra very responsive/flicky

With caustic soda?......seriously?
You need more, the stuff is violent how could it not work?, use more crystals in your solution.
I left a middleburn bash in caustic soda, it turned into what looked like stone, and completeley f**ked the plastic container it was in.

Caustic soda + water in a painting/rolling tray, wear gloves , spin the rim round in the solution untill it has has all disolved, hose off with water,,.... job done!
Get the caustic soda in B&Q in crystal form.
Nasty stuff but amazing results!

Is it possible to get a decent/lightish set under 200quid? be it second ahnd or not.
What models should i be looking at? Just for hacking around the woods etc,
