  1. I'm a bit slow to learn new stuff too.. but I keep trying and thinking how to do it, until I get it. I think the key is to have enough time, not to give up and enjoying the practise even if you can't do everything you want..

  2. if you really want to ride and enjoy it, you will always find time for it. for example I work full time, study at the university at the same time and have a gf, but still manage to ride as almost as much as i want. most evenings you can find hour or two to ride, and then there are weekends. but it's a different thing to get bored with trials itself.. I have found myself riding my street bike much more these which is one reason why I'm thinking of switching from UCI bike back to street trials bike...

  3. Is the lighter "Elite" version of Curtis T26 strong enough for mid level street trials? I know they recommended it only for competition use, but it is still steel and a bit heavier than XTP. So atleast it shouldn't be any weaker than XTP and probably much more dent resistable? How durable is the T26 regarded in ie. UK? I would probably be the first T26 rider in Finland, if I will buy it..

  4. if you are having problems make sure that magura knows of them. go to magura.de and write feedback to their customer forum. their engineers will probably read it from time to time. maybe the brake will be improved for 06 or atleast 07.

  5. my shoulder was dislocated maybe something like 20 times and i went to surgery where they put two screws/anchors in and i wasn't able to ride for a few months and the doctor said full recovery takes 6 months. anyways there have been no problems whatsoever since then and i also started some basic muscle workout at home to keep the muscles in good condition. i think especially rubber band moves that strenghten the muscles around the shoulder are really beneficial. i would recommend resting for some time and then starting to do muscle workout either at home or gym unless you already do some and continuing that for the rest of your life.

  6. for those with ankle problems, i would recommend buying a wobbleboard you can strengthen your ankles with and 661 or similar ankle supports. no more problems...

  7. that bike and carbon parts belong to multi time finnish champion. it's one of the lightest bikes that i have seen. he says that the carbon disc prototype in picture weights 46g compared to marta SL disc which is 106g and actually works very nicely. the carbon stem and fork are only for his ultralight titanium frame cruiser bike. the hs33 slave cylinder caps are very nice, only a few grams but the cylinders will look like new from year to year. normally your shoes wear the paint of them. i have them on my coustellier. if you want to see his bianchi live, just go to the biu european championship in sweden this may...

  8. i don't like the white color in forks, seat, stem and rims but otherwise it looks fine. the geometry sounds quite uci style which is nice. about that rear brake, it must feel very mushy like all rear cable discs with long cable casing etc... but anyway thumbs up (Y)

  9. RB has produced improved master cylinder which is supposed to NOT leak. the (disc) levers that have round black adjusting knob in one end of the master cylinder have a high tendency to leak. atleast here in finland, everyone with a leaking old style master cylinder will get the new improved version for free. but anyways, the RB levers are actually really nice when they work ok and don't leak.

  10. f**k that's awesome. he must be one of the most powerful riders in the world. if something could be improved from the riding/editing point of view, i would like to see longer lines, not just one big move after another, although he has that side perfected! :-

  11. So you can get some nicely stylish riding in too?  Generally, there's enough potential in there to have big lines between the individual obstacles, so you still have the other bits too so their style can come to the fore?

so what is that so called stylish riding? some old f**ker spinning on his backwheel or doing manuals? edit: sorry i was a bit drunk last night :P

  12. hopefully the area will also have some very big, hard and technical obstacles to provide enough challenge for coustellier, hermance, etc. i think last year's set up looked somewhat easier than previous years, atleast on video clips... why have stuff that the best riders can ride half asleep.
