i snapped the older elite model that has aluminum steerer, and i have seen and read plenty of other people snapping them, too. but the newer pro models with steel steerer are much better. mine is still going strong after something like 1.5 years. i think they're one of the best forks available and perhaps the most good looking...

i think mk2 should have the following improvements, too:
- overal better quality (no cheese bb shell, no loose bits inside the frame, etc.)
- slightly thicker head tube where the heaset cups go in
- make the seat and chainstays less dentable too (i haven't bashed my down tube)
- add more cnc machined bits or improve the old ones (mostly for looks)
- replace the current yellow/red horrible graphics
- make it 1900-2000g (maybe a bit difficult with the reinforcements?)

i switched from azonic dw's to try-all flats when i got my coustellier last spring. now the azonic's (on my newly built kona cowan) feel absolutely terrible. almost like riding your grandma's old ladies bike. (Y) the amount of backsweep is i think the most annoying thing.

i bought coustellier because it was over 200 euros cheaper than XTP and I'm the only Coustellier rider in Finland. (Y)

has anyone heard rumors whether there will be an improved mk2 version of the coustellier frame or not?

ok heres what happening
gilles has moved to england (newcastle upon tyne) with his loving girlfriend claire and will be staying there for a good 9 months. he still rides and has gone back to france this tuesday gone to collect a bike. giacomo is in france still but has no one to ride with which is the exact same problem gilles has. they do still ride they just have tomotivate themselves because they are both dead lazy
are they still aiming to be the best riders in the UCI comps next year? or do they take trials less seriously from now on and let hermance, belaey, comas, etc. be the top guys?

-Is there gonna be a new improved version of the frame for 2005?

-Where are all the mind-blowing videos like coustellier.mpg and hanleyconcourse in past? :)

i have been running magura braided lines for years with no problems. i would definately recommend them, they look highend and are more durable than plastic ones.
