  1. Also look out for bodged parts , i wish someone told me that when i started. You should have a look on ebay , there is alot of bikes on there ranging from £100-£200.
  2. I ride with Aran and he truly needs some tar so dont have a go at him and think hes putting up the topic to just get validated. Aran ive found a little stash where a lost mine and then found it again , ill bring some into school tomorrow to just tide you over .
  3. Also 20" or 26" and do you want disc , v or hs mounts ?
  4. On a mod you only really need a two bolt. And i cant really see much improvement. so it was just making my bike feal awfull aswell because the back brake lost all its power.
  5. Well i would go for a try all back rim. There light and strong.
  6. Well you want a 26" rim for your bike but do you want front or back ? Also how many holes your hub ?
  7. It looks amazing but how much did it set you back . Also how good are those try all bars ?
  8. Yes it happends alot and its happend to me (and most other people) when i bought a brand new deng hs33 off ebay it turned out to be the very opposite of what i thought i bought. When it came it was a massive disappointment. Take there advise.
  9. Well it would work out cheaper , but if theres a certain spec you want you could always take the route of doing your own bike up. Also if you change the bar and stem it would make a massive differance to the bike. Or it could just be the frame that you dont like.
  10. Its hard to say what bike to recommend when you havent given us the price your willing to spend. But to get a good bike these days you have to spend over £300 to get a decent second hand one off ebay. So have a look on ebay and see if anything has taken your fancy.
  11. Well everyone has said that the tensiles are better but i bet none of you have had a tensile and a world cat.(tell me if im wrong) , so its hard to say which one is better. Tensiles may be the more common freewheel (and for good reasons), but the world cat could be better. Also my tensile freewheel skips regularly and ive sheered a few paws as well.I keep it well maintained so tensile freewheels do have their problems.
  12. There must be a massive differance in them because loads of people run dmr v8 on there bike. I think there ether the most bought pedals on tarty or one of the most. They also last for ever and may need the once in a few years regressing which is so easy , so there is no hassle with them. They are alot smoother and i have only had 1 pair for two years. The wellgo v8 are just cheap copys. So go for the dmr v8.
  13. I have a met helmit that set me back £40. Looks great and its really easy to set it up. The link ... http://www.cogs-bikes.com/product_info.php...gkomj83qar80h35 But mines in white.
  14. I have got a few scars on my right leg.(not that big) Then i have a massive scar across my belly where my handlebars dug into me.(blood everywhere, and on my bike ) But i bet theres plenty of people that can beat that !
  15. welcome priddles (yes i spelt it write :) gona have fun on your t-poo )

  16. We all get it... "aww dont go on the flower beds"(the flowers are dead anyway) "Dont do that to the bench ,youll brake it."(Its already snapped everywhere and we didnt do it) But the cops in our area like to watch us. All you have to do is ignore it and be on your merry way.
  17. Well there only a little more comfortable than the normal magura levers so you cant really tell the deferance. But they do look alot better.
  18. Ive been told that the koxx browns are alot better but ive run both pads for a while and i cant see the differance. And Adams write your not stuck with the pads and tartybikes are always happy enough to change your order.
  19. I wouldnt say there is a clear outstanding bb that is the best but here is what i think are the top three isis bbs... http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?pr...p;category_id=2 Cheap and takes a bash also can have a light or a strong version. http://www.trials-uk.co.uk/product.aspx?productid=1579 Cheapest isis bb i could find and trials-uk seam to say its very stern bb with its super thick axel. http://www.trials-uk.co.uk/product.aspx?productid=67 This is a cheap price and it can be used with a front free wheel. Or you could be looking for a taper bb and we dont know what measurements you wanted. But you dont say so it makes it hard !
  20. Well if its brand new it could be that your top cap is loose which is a easy fix ,or your headset could be bedding in alittle so you tighten your stem upalittle also you do this with the same problem above. Or just take it to your local bike shop and see what they say.But i wouldnt ride it until its sorted.
  21. exactly the same one.... get one of those, if you need a hand fitting it or bleeding the brake; ask me
  22. Double sided sticky tape ? , your grips will never move again.
  23. What ever size or speck bike you get you should defiantly go for second hand. This is for a number of reasons. First and most obvious is either you get alot better bike for your money.(If you dont mind a few scratches) Or you can save alot more money by getting a cheaper bike that you would pay a bomb for brand new. i.e a decent specked onza t-pro for about £150 to £200 then either save your money you have left or you can spend it on your bike and better it. Also keep in mind that trials bikes constantly break down so your going to need to have some spare cash for any parts your going to need in the futur. Hope this helps, Adam
  24. this guy has just nailed it , 100% go with that, it would look awsome !
