  1. ive tried high roller, but it was a single ply tyre. I ended up with three rips in one day. And the amount of times i had to get the puncture repair kit out was beyond belief. so from my experience , i would stay clear of the high roller. Also would like to mention when i got it, it was advertised as a front tyre but it also said can be used on the back as well.
  2. I got a xbox 360 and money. But no chocolate.
  3. remove the back wheel, take off the fun bolts / axle nuts...slide on the snail cams. If you have a monty frame, the cams need to be on the outside of the frame due to their weird spaced frames ( unless you're using a genuine monty hub ) with any other hub and frame they'll fit on the inside of the frame. Hopefully your frame has the little m5 bolts that the snail cams notch against...if not its time to go to the bikeshop and grab some...they're the same size as bottle cage mounts and need to be aroun 10mm long. Now...adjust away!...set the drive tug up first until the chain is nearly at desired tension, by forcing the cam down, which in turn pushes the wheel backwards. Now,tighten the driveside bolt/nut and setup the non-drive cam so the wheel is centred in the frame.
  4. I meant buy another frame from a Friend, ebay or somewhere else and sell the zona zip on. I didn't imply in any way for him to buy or sell in nmc.
  5. took some pics of my echo ... http://C:\Documents and Settings\Sharon Fisher\Desktop\adam\adam bike pics http://C:\Documents and Settings\Sharon Fisher\Desktop\adam\adam bike pics
  6. A good choice of bike for a learner, i started out on a shogun gimp. How long will it take to have a bike running ?

  8. Noooooo , Ive seen to many of them explode. I think a tensile would be better.Cheap, reliable and serviceable friendly with all the spare parts available on various trials websites. A lot of people have them with not many complaints coming back.
  9. I use a disk on the front and its only occasionally damaged by sidehops. I think it would be the back thats to worry about. Look at your non-drive side chain-stay and see how much scratches/damage is there because a lot of that would be taken out on the rotor as well.
  10. Echo control 07. I'm happy with it and its a good spec but Ive rid better bikes. What bike have you got and are you happy with it / how does it feel ?
  11. Well if you like your sidehops but you hit the disk all the time = expensive on rotors if there bent beyond repair. Other than that i think its what disk brakes , setup and pads you use.
  12. Great riding , great music to go with it just bad film quality let it down .
  13. Why not get a different frame that you like and sell the zona zip ?
  14. Well for most begginers , they find mod is easier. To learn basics like being on the back wheel and so on. Then they get a stock.People find in quick to learn then go for more technical things on the bigger bike.
  15. Alot of people love the old zoo! bars. I would give them a go .
  16. Me , Alex and Jake should be there.
  17. We need to know what mod bike though, especially for the stem because there is different lengths and rises. There is a certain stem that will suit certain bikes.
  18. Great vid , the little manuals were awsome, dont know why , they just put a smile on my face .
  19. Still it shouldn't flex at all.
  20. Thanks for the heads up , ive bought one for my t-rex.
  21. Id do this aswell as you may get a brand new bike but the are poor quality and over time you will get ,with the onza bike range (under £400) reliability issues. I bought a brand new 07 onza t-bird when they just came out and i paid £359.99 for it , big regret as i had to keep taking it back to the bike shop and they would have to order new parts. First it was the non-drive side crank then the rear hub and a few weeks later , the chain snapped. But after i got a 06 t-pro that went through so many people, so it came with a decent spec, i could take it anywhere and not have to worry about the bike breaking down.Go for something 2nd hand with a good spec.
  22. You have to do it a few times , just treat the areas again where the remaining paint is.
  23. Use nitromores , its in Mr Muscle cleaning agents . Just apply a small amont in the area where needed , leave for 5 mins and the scrub with a old toothbrush. Extremly easy with great results.
