Hi Everyone, Further to my post yesterday, I have today received a letter from Salisbury Court stating that Simon Morson of Morspeed has now put an application forward to Leicester County Court for judgement to be set asside!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will now be expected to attend a hearing in Leicester. This means that the whole matter is once again delayed and the nightmare continues. Carol

Hi everyone, I am now pleased to be able to report that a decision has been made in the Courts. A County Court judgment now stands against Simon Morson of Morspeed and he has been ordered to pay me the refund for the engine plus costs. Although pleased at the outcome of this case, I feel very saddened that the whole matter came to this, how one person can cause so much heartache and grief. All we now want to do, as has been the case since January, is to get on and complete Oli's dream. So I await payment and then we can proceed. Thank you all for your continued support and kind words. So sorry to hear this tragic news. There are no words to describe the loss and the pain, just wanted to say my thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends. Yet another wonderful young man taken from us.

I would like to thank everyone for their patience in waiting for updates. I will now explain why we have had to wait so long. Unfortunately the engine we collected from Morspeed does not match the specification of the engine that Oli purchased. Many discrepancies have been found and as Simon from Morspeed has not given any explanation for these apparent discrepancies and has not answered my request for a full refund, I have now been forced to take court proceedings. The engine we collected cannot be used in Oli's mini and has in fact been considered unsafe. Work is however continuing on the mini, we just do not have an engine!!!!! There will be some photos posted very soon of work to date on his mini build thread. We are hoping to transport the mini for all to see to Castle Coombe on 27th September (minus an engine)

The engine was paid for in full last year!!!plus extra bits that were ordered and also paid for. It is bad and it is all making me very ill.

Oli was waiting for the engine last August when he was wanting to race it in September!!!! Sadly because of this Oli never got to drive his mini - his dream, it breaks my heart. Here we are in June - still waiting!!!!

Hi Everyone, Just to let you all know that despite constant phone calls daily - and being promised the engine daily!!!!! we are STILL WAITING. Words fail us, talking to a wall would be more productive and I have been driven to doing that lately to try to keep my sanity. Emotionally I have been dragged right down again by all this, just cannot believe especially under the circumstances how anyone could do this. We live in hope that one day it really will arrive.

Has the engine been delivered yet????? It is now 6 months since this was supposed to have been delivered!! Hope everything else is going OK Matt. Look forward to seeing some updates, you are doing a great job, thanks xxx

Thank you so much Nick and Pierre for coming over to see me and pick up Oli's bits for the mini. It was great to see you, sorry I had to continue working. I know Oli will be watching what is going on and it is great to see the progress. We stood in Oli's room looking round at all the wonderful remote control cars he built, the things he made and one of the bikes he built, so sad, he was so talented, this was his dream - 'Little Dobby' and again, I want to thank Nick, Pierre, Matt and everyone from the bottom of my heart, for continuing to bring his dream to completion. I know that emotionally it is so difficult for all of you, keep up the fantastic work and thank you so very much

Hello everyone, its so nice to see that some of you are still coming on here and leaving messages, I always check in to see if anyone has. Thank you, it is very comforting. I know for myself and a lot of people it seems to be getting harder, missing Oli soooooo much but I know he will be so happy to see progress on his mini. There should be some update pictures for everyone to see soon, thank you Nick and Pierre for picking up all those things yesterday for 'Little Dobby', it was lovely to see you both. Hi everyone, the Lewis family want to buy lots of T-shirts, when will they be ready?? Hi again everyone. I would like to thank you all for all your wonderful comments, tributes, kind words and generous support towards Oli and helping to get his Mini done. Life is unbearable without him and Nick you have been wonderful, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Knowing you are always there really helps. Sorry I have not posted before but it is difficult and some days like today it is so hard. Anyway, we will wear those t-shirts with pride, and we will keep his dream going and alive. Many thanks to everyone again, you have no idea how comforting you have all been. Take care Carol

Hello everyone, I want to say to all of you who have written on here thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your wonderful tributes and words about Oli. Oli was my little ray of sunshine from the moment he was born and was my life. It is unbearable without him and one of the things that keeps me going is his precious mini, his dream, which we will keep alive for him. Reading all your words each day were a great comfort. He was the most wonderful, kind, intelligent, funny, happy, laid-back, loved person anyone could ever meet. From the moment he was born he laughed and kept laughing. I miss his laugh so much. He was my soul-mate and my best friend as well as the best son anyone could ever have. We are hoping to start work on his other 'baby' the Chevy Van when we can. It was his dream to get this done and drive over to Egypt in it later this year!! This was going to be started once the mini 'Little Dobby' was finished. I will keep you all informed of progress. In answer to this question, the mini will be kept safely and as already said, will be taken to all the shows by either Nick or myself (hopefully both) and friends and family all present. There are so many wonderful people to thank for all their kindness and who want to see it and I have to say a huge thank you to Nick for all his organisation. 'Little Dobby' has a lot to do over the years. Oli's dream will go on
