  1. hi mate how much you want for the hope trials front disc with braided hoses

  2. Getting run over by a car on my bmx when i was 13, on friday 13th too! I broke my left leg in 5 places, and was in a cast from my groin to my toes for 8 weeks. When the cast came off my leg looked like a twig! Thankfully I have no problems with it now....touch twig!
  3. Theres some really nice places to ride around Manchester Uni and the Academy. Myself and Oakland are going to be heading down there at about 13:00 on Saturday. Get in touch if you would like to join us. Alex
  4. There good, they need a little tightning up though. Im using one at the moment, but i got a wheel builder to go over the spokes, do the same if you get one. alex
  5. Oakland 5 years Berrybike since january
  6. God damn that slam looked real hard! Did you have a bloody face?
  7. Its only a short teaser edited by Oakland! Opinions please? http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=IQ_PJfTYZiY
  8. I was looking at getting a Pashley Guvner for my daily cummute to work (See photo). Someone on FGSS posted a comment suggesting appropriate attire to ride the bike, its by a company called "dashing tweeds", and makes tweed cycling gear for city kids! Thought it would be very funny to see some trials action in this fancy dress! What do you think, does anyone have £800 quid to spare on the suit?

  10. Is it this one? I bought this one and my rear wheel 46mm rim wouldnt fit with maggies, so i bought a Zoo instead and took it back to the shop. Very good value at £150 for frame, fork, headset, BB, cranks and pedals Alex
  11. watch this video, caustic soda + aluminium = f**k that
  12. Im an Environmental Consultant working for Parsons Brinckerhoff. I have been there 1 year (fresh from my MSc at Salford Uni) and I have been to Morocco for 4 weeks, where I went to Rabat, Cassablanca, Kenitra Mamoura, Taza, Marrakesh and my favourate place in the world "Chefchauen"...google it! I have worked in Cyprus for a couple of weks and also in Matrough in N. Egypt near Alex. Our client is one of the world largest distributers of Hydrocarbon products. I travel to places in Africa on their demand in response to spillages, aquasitions or the like. Many of the work involves drilling on petrol stations to deliniate any possible hydrocarbon contamination which may have impacted groundwater. Its a sweet job, and keeps me entertained!
  13. Yeah mate, its a good point.....but they all ride ponys out there and ride around with wooden carts. I thought a shiny bike would attract a bit of attention.... manchester does had its risks but I am aware im them. Im not really down with spotting arabic trouble it has to be said? Would you risk it?
  14. Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyones ever rode in Egypt, Ive got about a months worth of work coming up around Cairo, Giza, Azhar, Hurghada and Alexandria. I was thinking of taking my bike and doing some riding around the area, maybe the pyramids! Or maybe not....lol Has anyone been, doesnt seem egypts heard of trials according to google! My main concern is getting mugged or something, but i thought as ill be there on my own for a month it will keep me from goin insane! Opinions? Would you do it? alex
  15. hmmm try the Viz forks, there quite strong! Im using them now and they are good , by that i mean strong and stiff. http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=10212 http://www.trials-uk.co.uk/product.aspx?productid=393 The steerer is very strong and the disc mounts come very well aligned so you dont need them facing which is a nice supprise for deng. My echo urbans were so out (the facing tool would not even fit), i had to send them back. Hope it helps
