  1. Hey, i cracked my orange zero at the chain-stay. my mates a welder by trade so i got him to weld me it. I had a plate welded on and a load of weld built up around the crack. Within weeks the cracked developed again, and it is bigger now than ever. If i were i would keep your eye out for a new frame, maybe a second hand one. I don't think its worth the risk of injuring yourself if the frame was to crack or snap again, especially if your doing something big. And you'll always have it on your mind when trying something that there's a possibility it could break again. joe b
  2. Well maybe 'I' took offence, it was only meant to be a handy hint. You Know, if your out riding and your brakes are lagging then dr pepper is easy to get hold of, rather than looking for a bit of tar to dig out the road.! I wasn't ordering you not to use tar, just expressing that i thought this method was better as it left no mess and could be rinsed off with water, with no need to purchase 'white spirit'. Also, it seems to last for a decent length of time for me. You seem angry to me, as the same with a lot of other people that replied to my message, if id of known some of you might get a little upset by my little tip than I would of kept it to my self. Your also right about your suggestion of riding longer than me, you most likely have. iv been riding on and off, mainly off, for about 6 years. With my job its hard to ride all the time as I'm sometimes away, and also finding new people to ride with each time my job location changes. Next time I would much rather you keep your silly little comments to yourself, and maybe I'll keep my little bit of trials knowledge to myself. Bye now, Joe B
  3. I just read a post about a lad that used tar on his rims and his pads kept sticking. If anybody out there does use tar on there rims then dont. Use Dr pepper instead. Its easier to get hold of, works just as well if not better, doesnt leave a mess and is really easy to apply. Just pour a drop into the lid then run a little round your rim with your finger, leave for a minute to dry and then hop away.! Just thought id share that tiny little bit of trials gen to you all. joe b
  4. iv just looked at a koxx boxx frame on the tarty bikes site, oh my god! that frame is awesome. definitely the nicest frame iv ever seen and at 3.75 kg it weighs a nats bollock! going to ride my hart out just so one day i can buy it and justify owning it! id ad a picture if i knew how! joe b
  5. Ha how strange! if i was a full member i would probably own an A1 now.! theres one for sale in the classified but i cant mail the guy until im a member. how does the A1 ride compared to the orange. i noticed benjaminge said the pure is similar which is good because i realy like the echo frames. thanks for both your replies. joe b
  6. yeh there awesome. i found a vid once on you tube it was quality il have to see if i can find it again. i reckonised some of the places, or i think i do. used to ride there when i was younger. Any one know if its morecambe?
  7. I used to ride all the time, i first started out on a planet x zebedi but soon changed to a Orange zero because i got one cheap. The size difference was very noticeable. I wanting to get a new bike now as this one's cracked, anyone out there ever rode a orange zero who now rides something else? what do you ride? i know the zero's a short frame so was wondering what would be a good next frame, any sugestions? ta, joe b
