  1. And what things make you decide? Just comfort? Because there is no perfect height, too much height and a few moves will rock but others will suck, and vise versa with low setup. If you think about it, a lower setup would be easier to go to front wheel, wouldnt have to pull bars up as high to get the wheel on top of the object. but a high setup might be better for rear wheel control for tall guys.?

  3. Just wondering what everyone out there is using for stems and spacers, specifically 26" bikes with BB +45 or more. Whats your opinion on using spacers? I am 6'4" and just got a new 150x30 stem and I have a 10mm spacer under it... Can't really play with spacer height with a sloped top cap so I am wondering if I should cut it down without spacer or leave it? On a 26" with +45 bb, wheelbase is around 1100. Does Stan run a spacer under his stem? I know he's tallish and uses the tryall 152x30 stem i believe? Some moves are better with higher bars but some are worse, trying to find the medium best of both worlds spot. Thanks
  4. I already got my copy and watched the whole thing + extras and It blows any other trials video away. GET1 was pretty hard to beat but I think this tops it. Edited really well as usual coming from Goddard. If you are a fan of biketrial in any way and you don't order GET2 you are REALLY missing out.

  7. Finally sorted through my hours of raw footage. Video includes 26" elite semi finals, some 20" elite finals, Hegedus L. training, some junior warm up, 26" elite finals and some XC & downhill footage. Also a special guest appearance by Danny Butler and Ben Slinger . Some riders in the video: Vincent, Gilles, Benito, Ben Slinger, Marc Caisso, Diaz, Kenny, Hegedus, John Webster and more. Encoding and Vimeo conversion took away alot of quality but at least the audio is still in sync and the aspect ratio is right. You can download the video if you scroll down on the right of the page. It was a great experience and pleasure to finally watch some of the riders ive been looking up to over the past years in person. I actually talked to Cesar Canas for a while along with Danny Butler, Ben Slinger and Hegedus who were and still are big inspirations of mine. Very nice, good people. It was funny how I met them, talking to these random people while watching the comp who turned out to be Slinger's parents haha.. I hope you enjoy the footage and if you feel like it's boring without audio just play some music in the background while watching or something. I remember always watching comp footage without music and I actually like it more than an edited video with music. If you know a better way to compress 720x480 4:3 miniDV footage let me know! Cheers!   14. why are bikes so difficult. I just bought my hope trials last winter. Not buying a different one just because my fork. But the new frame i get will be based around a fork with 400mm/35 rake vs. mine which is 45 rake... GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  16. I don't know what caliper number. I have the Echo hifi fork with CNC crown area. Caliper is hope trials brake with 180 rotor size. No adapters.
  17. What forks can I use with my Hope Trials disc brake? I have a 180mm rotor. I want to get a new lighter fork for my new frame and I noticed that all forks these days have non-standard tabs +20, +30 etc... I have no idea what adapters I'll need or whatnot to still be able to use my current disc brake. Please help me.. Cheers and thanks Ryan
  18. Yeah, i just got the tryall hole rear rim... single wall. I haven't ridden on it yet so i just want to make sure it's okay, i don't want to taco it my first ride lol.
  19. Cool. So when i had heavy gauge spokes I would tension them hardcore and not care. Now i have double butted sapim spokes (from tarty) that are thinner, how do I know when to stop tensioning?
  20. wow thanks for the info! I was just wondering what most people do? I don't know if a super tight wheel would be better or stronger than what i have right now. I can bend the spokes around but it's still pretty tight. Maybe i could get better power transfer with tighter spokes? (gap farther, etc...)
  21. Hello everyone, Curious as to what the proper spoke tension would be on a 26" wheel with tryall H hub, double butted sapim spokes, and tryall hole rim. On the Park Tool Tensiometer my spokes are at about 15-20 right now.. What is the best tension for the spokes to be at? Thanks Ryan
  22. I am about to build up a new wheel but i don't have any tri-flow or linseed oil to put on the nipples/rim eyelets... Is Prolink chain lube close enough or should i wait till i get some linseed oil? thanks Ryan
