You do know the acu rules of moto trials states there is an imaginary line in between each of the flags and if you go outside this it is a 5.
The observer was correct.
Pretty sure the wording re intended line of the flags was removed from the ACU handbook some time ago
One major rule change I'd make is that "one foot must be kept on a pedal at all times". If not its a 5. That would stop all the cheat dabbing straight away. Something fundamental needs to be done in the UK as the comp scene is on its arse
Good in principle Dan but not as easy as you think to enforce. How would you observe someone who puts there foot down and takes the other foot off the pedal to rotate the crank back to the top to set off again?

Less snow than I expected.
Let us know when your up that way as we are only 15mins from there.
We went to Matlock today, no snow, mega.

You need something like a Monty 207. The geometry is spot on for 7-10 year olds. Or there is a new UK brand called Onnit.
A full size mod with a short stem is not great as the reach is still too big and the gearing is normally too high.

Alejandro only just classified as a kid now. 15 years old. Nice kid from a nice family and he is a great rider. won the UCI world youth games last season.

Heatsink Blues are softer than yellows.
It's all about matching the hardness of the pads to the hardness of the rim.
Soft pads-soft rim, harder pads- harder rim

Great sunny day for November spent at Matlock quarry.

Trials Kong video is done. Find it on their Facebook page

Don't go with the monty. Too long and low.
Adam has been on a GU all season which was 985 long, 595 reach and +85.
His new onza is the same except 600 reach.
Before that he had a prototype that was 970 long and +55. The higher bb has given him far more control on the back wheel and if your son is wanting to aim at UCI events a higher bb is the way to go

Yes. With trialtech forks at +30 its 985 wheelbase. With echo's it would be 995 and bonz 1000.
Bb +85
Reach 600

The next round of the Tyke Trial championship is on the 26th October and is a massive first for the club.
It will be run at the manmade Dexx Trials Park near Rotherham.
The format will be different to normal with the Primary (white), Novice (Green) and Intermediate (Blue) running in the morning over 3 laps of 5 sections and the Cadet, Expert (red) and Elite (yellow) running in the afternoon over a totally different 3 laps of 5 sections.
Cadets will have their own sections rather than being 50/50 red/blue.
It is hoped that the afternoon riders will turn up in the morning to help observe and tutor the younger riders and it is hoped that the morning riders and families will stay on for the afternoon to watch and learn from the more experienced riders and also to help put with observing.
Entry forms available soon on the Tyke Trial website.

Think there are still issues with online system.
your the 3rd person that the class hasn't shown.
Derek, presume you are doing senior green?
Only got around 20 entries with a lot of regulars missing so must be some glitches re the online system

Or any magura slave but use the tensile lever. Half the cost of racing line. 3 finger blade

The national at bracken rocks will be using tape where required to ensure no 'cheat' lines.
I don't mind people going for the big dab instead of a sidehop etc but I don't like the sneaky round flag riding so it will be set out so that can't happen.
Are you coming to observe Dan?
Best looking mod?
