(oooeeerr missus!!!) will have to keep my standard 22 granny ring though I LOOKED AT THAT GEAR LINK AND DIDNT UNDERSTAND ANY OF IT IM THICK AS PIG PLOP!!!! any help would be great help cheers

hello bud i'm 31(just gone tuesday),married with 2 kids(that makes me feel 40 sometimes!!!!)and have been ridin trials bout 3-4 month.i've ridden bikes for roughly 14years,still a little overweight though!!!!,but since trials i am actually loosing the pounds its a bloody good full body work out!!! who cares what age you are?? if it doesnt bother you then stuff everyone else.when im out on the bike im in my "special little place" so i dont even notice anyone looking at me!! ive had no probs as of yet just bloody swollen bruised shins and the odd jarred elbows age should not be an issue (i think i am the oldest on the north east coast whitley tynemouth area!!!!) happy riding if you ever fancy comin up to this neck of the woods give is a bell

well im not sure the rim was ground for the standard pads to get more grip should i invest in another rim?? leave the new rim smooth?,what pads would be good in the meantime cause i just been out tonight and because i have a lazy arsed piston on my back brake i lost another good 2mm off the pad!!!at this rate i'm gonna have to replace worn pads by end off month is there any photos or vids on how to set up rear brake properly??? cheers dan

hello dan x im the lad who had some adamant white pads on a med/sharp grind.you were wanting to know how they performed so here is my results!!!!! they work bloody great but the biggest prob is the wear rate! don't know if this is normal but after 2 short sessions i would say i have used at least 2/3mm of pad this is gonna be a costly pad when they go back up to full price i need a harder resin pad any ideas???

cheers for advice lads i have already ground the wheel and from what im readin i think abit to harshly (went through my rear pads far to quickly) does everyone grind the front rim aswell or is that to aggressive over the bars stylee???!!.No prob DAN X i will keep you informed on how me brake set-up works

hello people hope all is well in T.F.! just got my half price adamant pads from tarty bikes(i know they only brake pads but they look trick with them being white!).this trials ridin has turned out to be more addictive than the XC ridin i used to do!!!! only prob is i seem to be struggling with my confidence in tryin new manouvres i bottle everytime and i'm startin to get p=+£%d off with myself!!!.My biggest fear is loosing it big style off the back and obviously this is holding back any advancements i could be making!!!! i'm needin somone to ride with as i think my ridin bud has given up!!! i think it best to ride with someone as it makes for a more enjoyable experience!!!! oh and by the way does (or has) anyone rode a team mad phase 1.2??? if so how good are they compared to similar bikes in strength quality etc etc cheers for reading please post back if anyone has any ideas to get me to the "the next level"

who does these neco yellows bud and what are the benifits of a water bleed on th mags?? i also thought about discs but both hubs are not disc ready and 2 expensive change(as i am married with 2 kids my money will only stretch so far lol

back in the day when i first saw trials(about 10 years ago)it was the 2 martyns that made my jaw drop in awe,thinkin i wanna do that!!! having watched CHAINSPOTTING and seeing hans rey do his thing i didnt think he was in the same league as the martyns(not wanting to annoy anyone i do realize he has done a hell of alot for trials........and still does)but who has the best all round ability in the world of trials today who is it that everyone looks upto nowadays every generation has an idol.

ok,ive looked at the search forum and i cant find a topic on it so here it goes!!!! i used to run a mag33 on a smooth dx32 with original black pads....it was shite!!!! so i gave the rim a grind and that seemed to improve the stopping power for a while but bloody hell...how quick do them pads wear! within 2hours of riding i was turning the pad adjuster for all it was worth.on closer inspection the bloody pad was way off square,the set up had moved.i started to reset th brake and slipped with the allan key ripping the hose out so now having cursed enough i am thinking of v-brake set up i know a few of you use them,how are they what combo do you use shimano or avid etc etc i apologise if this has been asked already but its hard to ride a trials bike with no back break!!!! cheers for reading

first off i do apologize if this has been a question already asked,what is the better bike 26 or 20 for some reason i think a 20" would be alot lighter to handle and manouver.i could be totally wrong but dependin on what reply's i get there could be a phase 1.2 up for sale!!!! lol please reply as your opinion's will help cheers big ears!!!!!

well since i just started on me trials i think i be progressin pretty well a can do bout 20 then my 14 and a half stone body seizes up and me asthma kicks in lol
