to be honest you wouldnt have been ridiculed if you would have stated the style you ride or how heavy you are etc.. you jsut said what are good rims..
all rims are good in their own way!

i myself am in need of some advice,
but about grips, i ws riding before on V!Z grips, the same as the Try-all and echo ones, and i now have terrible blisters i can barely bend my hand lol,
i'm thinking of investing into some try-all foam grips? or are ODI lock-ons better?
Dan,

What are good rims ?
are you dumb?
-
real lightweight rims from what i've heard.
but, from the other things i've heard they arent for heavy riders at all.
its your choice
I myself am looking into a DOB magnesium frame.

how good the TPA's are?
also.. you will not be ble to buy a new replacement TPA for your old magura.
best bet is to buy a new lever.
Dan.

my tpa had died
but.. if your asking if the new Tpa will fit you 04 maggie.
then no, you cant fit the new tpa on the old magies, if it is broken either buy a new tpa kit or a new lever

callum he said in his reply ...

wow!!!
thats a lot of money for a few exams lol!!

maybe your crank bolts or threads are stripped/threaded?
looking at the other side of things... noone has mentioned your bb..
your bb could be rounded off aswell or instead..
investigate it..
if not take it a bike shop??

nice idea!
thanks, lets just see if it works

This is My idea, for all new members who need help with there bikes.
As i have asked a fair few questions and recieved, answers, and i have helped other people, i thought maybe start a topic about it so here goes;
If you have any problems with your bike.
If you have any questions about modification.
If your after advice on pads, breaks, setups etc.
post it here so that the forum doesnt get clogged up with everyones queries.
and someone on here will get back to you with helpful answer.
This is jsut my contribution to Trials Forum, i hope it helps.

I've got Hs33 rear with water bleed, echo lever and a monty hose splitter. I can't say I noticed a massive difference to be honest, perhaps a slightly sharper feel, but that was offset by the spongeyness added by the lever I put on.
If you like to tinker and want the brake to be the best it can possibly ever be then go for it, otherwise its probably not worth the hassle.
If you end up doing it, then I think Onza had a how to page somewhere, cant find it at the mo but someone on here might be able to help. I do remember it suggestes using washing up liquid as a lube to get the barbed fitting on, which worked for me. Plus dont try it unless you have the hose clamp to hold the hose while you knock the fitting in.
yeah,
hose clamps,
hammer
and a damn lot of force
good luck getting the hose onto the barbed fittings
took me an hour to do 2!!
