    Tyke Trial

what a lot of people are wondering is - will their be trials to ride.
  6. Or......gone to the same manufacturer and asked for 50 with a different name laser etched on the tubing (Y). ←
  7. im well happy with my try all shoes - cant understand how you get shoes in a mess like those in the opening post. ribo shoes dont temp you to wear em when not riding as they look poo -
  8. mailed koxx- when can i get the new shoes.................... turns out they are the bmx ones and not trials.
  9. i agree - just look like frames for frames sake - make enough and one will be right in the end. who was it said that if you filled a room with chimps each with a key board they would eventually write the entire works of shakespear - thats how these designs came about.
  10. voted koxx brown as they last for ever. but i have yellow at the back a browns at the front now. best brake set up i have ever had.
  11. when will the dates of the british championships be available.
  12. pleased with my armourdildo - cheaper to from ben savages site.
  13. total guy your missing the point......... no ones really moanin about uci and biu - waynio and others are sick of the dissin being dished at trials it seems by people who go about crying and shoutin about hitting themselves on the knee with hammers - ref tech 04. i have seen and heard this at ymsa and as waynio says what goes around comes around and you cant keep bawling without people takin notice and laughing.
  14. i may be wrong, but havnt we got 2 uci champions - not if thats 3 because i cant make out what was said in the tecnique o4 bt mag report about db. uk uci champs are also biu champs, so whats the big puzzle - looks like good trials riders are good at trials regardless of the rules - may be the french should watch out for us brits. as far as gilles is concerned it would be great to see him at trials here even though he is no longer world champion, like his brother. i have read on the forum that he will be here or there but he never shows - why is that have the coust team given up because they dont win - i hope not. hey aust stop slaggin off fellow trials riders just they like because rails and side hops - they must have taken ages to get it so good.

    Win A Bike

looks like a good idea to raise money for the world comp. that will be one show with all the top riders to watch.
  16. looks like its not true then - why are people always trying to stir this thing up - whats it all about. biketrial say below nothin doin. Having read the recent post by "Badboy" I was amazed and distressed at the content. The dates of the British Championship were announced back in January. We then changed the date of the first round to accommodate those riders who wished to attend the Bike Show, and changed the date of the second event to accommodate some riders to attend another event abroad. It was only during this last week that it came to our attention that the UCI event is on the same weekend as the last round of the British Championship. It is too late now to change the date of that event, the venue (the most expensive in the UK) has been booked and has to be paid for for that weekend whether the event takes place or not. The first aid and other facilities have been booked and have to be paid for. This takes a lot of work, time, effort, and money. Hearing at such a late date that around ten of the top UK riders may have other commitments, and therefore may not be able to attend the event and the Championship trophy presentation, is extremely disappointing. However, as Chairman of BikeTrial UK, nothing is agreed without my knowledge. We regularly hold telephone conferences about urgent issues that can't wait until the next meeting, and I can assure you all that there has been no discussion about witholding licences, and certainly no such agreement. I have now been in touch with Brian Matthews about this post who assures me that his comment of "I feel like ..." was in a personal conversation with another committee member, expressing his personal disappointment at the situation. Brian stated to me that he has "no control over such a decision, it would have to go to the committee". We work hard as committee members to organise the sport for the riders, all our work is voluntary. It is extremely sad that we can't have personal conversations with colleagues without our thoughts and feelings about disappointing situations being repeated and exposed in an internet forum as if they were fact, leaving us, as individuals, exposed to the negative comments that this issue has aroused. Please be assured, as a committee we endeavour to act in the best interest of the sport and the riders.
  17. both me and a mate got frames from the old x street, our first bikes. I got a new one and my mate paid cash for one with a broken disk mount - both broke. we phoned their phone off the wall for months - then a new company - biketrial took over and sorted us. after a time when we called for parts we were directed to eztrials. I never had any problems with them, I phoned - paid - they sent - sweet. now it looks like xstreet is back. the chinks must be crazy supplying those scum bags. if a decent company had not took on echo we would never have got warranty. look out who you spend with they might vanish again leaving you with no cover. I think echo want an importer who wriggles out of their obligation - aftre all it saves them money. the ez guys were trials riders and went to trials - the new/old lot look like a bunch of f*#in tarts that don't ride - no offence to the official tart intended
  18. if its like that when you are trying to spend with them - whats it going to be like if somthing goes wrong.
  19. the echo situation seemed ok last year - didnt some other company sort out x streets warranty cock ups - cant remeber who - where did they go. any way seems funny how the company that made a bodge of it are doing it again - seems strange
