I run 22psi on both tires and it works good for me. Im 70-72kg if that helps.

Hey mate, Try to use more capitals and correct spelling and you'll get validated quicker I run duel disk and they work good, however if your getting hydrolic disks, get a good one. I have a Hayes Stroker Ryde disk on the front and the seals have broken a bit and they leak oil and dont work that great now. I have a BB5 on the back that works great, Get a cable disk if anything. Avoid Juicy 3's at all cost, Ive gone through 3 of them.

I have some Trident Trials shoes. The grip are soft so they dont slip of the pedals, but the souls are hard. They are really tight and take some getting used to but they are real good. Also they look a bit odd... I paid $145 NZD (Or around that) which is 55 GBP. I recommend getting some.

I was learning to do them on my trials bike, but when ever I fell I would get my foot jammed (no pun intended) in the forks and I buckled my wheel. So I decided to stick to doing trials on my trials bike (funny that).

Im bidding on a Canon EOS 3000 at the moment. The guy said that its in great condition and everything works propely on it. Im hoping its a good one...

Sweet as. There is an 18 week course up in Auckland that you learn a whole and you get to make 2 short movies and a music video, so I hope to go to that after school. And through school I have learnt a lot about studing media, and the codes and convections and camera techniques and narrative structure and why they put things in the shots. So I think that I have all right knowledge of that kind of thing (like parrallel editing, and narrative retardation etc). I was hoping to get a new rim for my P2, but I might use the money to get a SLR of Trademe(like ebay ) insteed, because we have only got digital cameras at the moment and they do all the focus and appatures and shutter speeds itself. When I started riding motorbikes as a wee lad, I saw some motorbike trials in a book and told dad I wanted to do that, So did he. So we started doing motorbike trials and when I found out that there was bike trials I wanted to do it because it would improve my skills on my motorbike, and because we live in town it would give me more time to do it. Then I realised that it was better than motorbike trials and it seemed to be easier. So 6 months ago, after a year of trying to do trials on a jump bike I got my CZAR and its gone from there....

That would be mean as I rekon. Getting to travel all around the world. Thanks. Do you travel around the country much? Is it a job that you could hold down a family? Or is it to time consuming and all over the place? I have some knowledge of 35mm SLR cameras from Media Studies. But its only real basic, eg. focus, apatures, zoom and how films work.

I want to be a Camera Operator. Should of mentioned that. Yeah, I would want to get more into TV than film. Something along the lines of sports and things for the news. Documentarys would be good fun too. Yeah Ive looked at those Red cameras. They are a great camera. Have you used a Red camera? Sorry I didnt be specific enough. I would want to be a Camera Man for mainly the News or other TV shows. I wouldnt mind doing a bit of editing too. I live in New Zealand and its really small place. I was talking to a guy who used to be a journalist and knows a lot of camera men. And they said that you dont really need to go to uni or polytech, it helps a bit but its not that important. Being a camera man in movies would be awsome but its insane to get into.

Hes an adult and has a job so its probly hard to organise things. And hes the guy I brought my bike off and hes been riding for 10 years. Hopefully I can get a day that I can go for a ride with him though. I dont go to the chain side, Im left foot foward and I go up to the left.

I know. I cant believe that hes that good for a blind guy.

Not realy that good of a video editing wise but the rider is blind and he doing trials.

Sometimes I do, But I always pull in the front brake when Im on the back wheel (I dont know why). Some times when doing a stoppie I pedal like mad just because is fun!

Is that for movie and independant filming? or for news and sport and everything? I dont realy want to waste time learning things that I wont end up using in the end Im sorry me lord, please forgive me and dont harm my family for we are simple pesants. thank you me lord.

How many people on here are into Cinematography? I very keen on it as a career and what to find out as much as I can. If you dont want to tell me anything, what are some good forums to get involved with? Thanks.

Thanks for all the help guys. I cant put any of it into practice at the moment because it wont stop raining and all my stuff is wood so its real slippery and I cant use it! But Im learning a lot.

Then you would be completely suprised when I say there is only about 30 riders in the whole country. I cant do anything with the other foot. I have trouble balancing with it foward! Mind you I have not done any practice with that foot.

Man they throw a bit of a tantrum when they dont get it! Was there bare boob? or just the bikini chick?

Will try that, Thanks. Bol Maaaaaaing doesnt mean anything at all. Me and my mate just made it up, there was an add on TV that was about Drink driving and it said Oh Mate! heaps and we just made up some other crap word like it. But it has no meaning what so ever. Sweet as then.

I am realy having trouble with side hops at the moment, I cant get them right at all. When ever I try I can only get the front wheel on what Im trying to hop, and the other wheel misses all together. Is it because Im hopping on the same side as my foward foot? What is the best tactic to doing it? Also, Do I want to get a 26"? I have a CZAR 20" at the moment and dont know if I want to swap for a 26" 26"s seem to be able to do more (What Ive seen in vid's) and looks like they can go further and higher, is it true? Or should I just stick with my CZAR? Cheers for any help, Joe
