yeh, fair point Leon, will try to get a feel of some azonics and see how they are as I have the flat n' wide bars on my other street/thrash bike (a ns holy with manitou circuses) just now. haven't ridden trials in about 5 years haha

I like the idea of keeping it British that's pretty cool. I have middleburn pro trials (black to) for it, and that £5 stem looks like a winner although a hope stem would be a little more fitting for the uk connection but not at 10 times the price.. what a about renthal bars? really appreciate all the comments too, been scratching my head over it for ages..

cheers guys, that is exactly what my problem was, it is old geometry so all these new fangeled stems looked like they might mess it up.. although having not even riden it yet i guess it comes own to personal preference to. bit of trial and error probably. Will look up stedmans old build i think.

Just got myself a Pashley 26ghz frame and fork, although pretty dated now, I always wanted one, ever since I was about 15.. anyway now I am building it up I am not sure what kinda of bar and stem combo would work with the frame? Any suggestions?

completely agree, good media coverage makes such a difference... imagine if Danny MacAskill was competing.. I bet the cameras would have been there then! haha

Its suprising that they didn't have a camera following it, maybe not as much coverage as at the Antwerp World Championships, but Red Bull must have had 5 or 6 cameras covering the downhill alone! so they could have spared one for it! anyway wil defiantly look out for the report on tribalzine cheers

was just looking through some old DVDs and found that Petr Kraus section in sprung 5 i think it was and after googleing him he seems to have disappeared after his stint on Redbull team.. what happened to him? he had a real streety style like the old trials kings videos
