  1. 30lbs? I run 15-20 on my creapy crawlers , I find it far easyer to balance and it gives a spring when you preload spins or gaps also it acts as slight suspension on big drops, but get Kenda rear tubes there huge ! and that's the trick to run low pressure without denting rims .

  2. Hi mate

the problem I had was the same as you " I'm not rich " I got a t pro brilliant bike got some maggies for it now its good but I keep getting better now I need to upgrade I've only had it a year .in trials you progress so fast by the time you buy a 400 pound bike then upgrade you may as well buy a good one to start with . Dont join me in my hole its hard to escape !

    hope I helped

    p.s 20" rule !!

  3. Hi mate

do you mean climb to front wheel, because I dont quite get what you mean if u do mean climb to front I found out yesterday (due to trial and error) take off really early and as soon as your front wheel touches the object, thrust your pelvis towards the stem. tucking your legs up helps to get your rear wheel as high as you can then you can do a lot wheel swap or a couple of front wheel hops and come down again .its a tricky move to exicute remember when you thrust, arc your body .be careful your back wheel comes up fast and could be very painful!

    Good luck

    Hope I helped

  4. @OP

Save the few that take a positive interest - passer-byers give us a hard time.

They do this because it's something different, and - as sad as it is - society is scared of different.

They get very attatched to what they know, and as soon as something that doesn't fit in comes along, they scorn it.

It's human nature... Everyone's afraid of what they don't know.

Being that they know NOTHING of trials - they belittle it, as a way out of admitting their ignorance.

As for security guards - they're absolutely right.

More often than not - we're invading private property, and usually damaging it.

It's occasionally public property - but we still make a mess of what's cost the council (read: us) a lot of money.

I'll still go on places I know we'll get kicked off - but if they DO tell us to go - I go.

Through repetition of this - we seem to've worked up a decent relationship with them.

My security guards are great I live 10 Minits away from an industrial estate they let my come in and say stuff like " I bet you can't gap across that" they let me use all there pallets Cotten reals and loading bays . There gutted when i leave !

Both groups of people will always try to imply that they know what's going on - but that's purely because they have no idea what's going on.

It's life - get used to it.

If you really don't like the fact, then I suggest you quit.

  5. Hi mate

I heard that to ,but if you look at your lever it has the red tpa wheel and 2 black semi circles either side ,the tpa wheel has 2 bits sticking out into them . it needs the black bits to stop the tpa wheel ratteling around and stoping the bolt mooving in and out the lever also making the lever slack it seemed to me the 74kingz tpa wheel is the only way to do it but let me know if u do find a way :)

    Hope I helped .

    jack .

P.s do you mean the bolt that screws into the tpa wheel.

  6. Sounds like you got the same problem as me last week, u have ripped the thred out of your adjuster. I don't understand why magura put a plastic thred on it ! you could just buy a tpa kit from tartybikes but it will just go again I would buy a 74kingz tpa wheel and a magura tpa kit aswell if the actual bolts had its thred ripped out .but throw maggies wheel away !!!

    Hope I helped

  7. hi mate

I've got Evo 2's on my t pro ,there nowhere near as good as 4 bolts there is hardly any adjustment and very hard to get the plastic ring in the right place and the pad near the rim. I miss my quick release ! With Eco 2 you need to deflate your tyre just to take a wheel out. Stick to 4 bolt mate there so much better . Hope I helped

  8. hi mate,

Dont you find that stem to big I'm 5'10 and like small stems . I found small stems are Easyer to wheel swap and anything to front wheel (gap to front) its hard for me to find my front wheel balance point with stems that big .I would advise you to try a small one .

    Hope I helped

    Jack

P.s love the look of it anyway

  9. Hi mate,

Trying to choose the right wheel size is tough ,to me 20" is easyer to hop ,but 26" is better to ride a section with little or no hopping. 24" is not to hard to hop but also has a good ability to ride. in conclusion:

    competition riding:above blue - 20"

    Blue-24"

    Below blue-26"

    street :20"

Hope you find the right bike for you.

    best of luck!

    Jack.

  10. hello,

I'm jack I'm 14 and ride an onza t- pro . I have rode trials for 1 year now and have picked it up very quickly , I can now do 1.8 meter gap jumps! And 9 ft drops !!(if I can figure out how I'll upload my video) I'm always up for a southend ride, as I live close . I can't wate to become a full member so I can hopefully go to London with you guys, Im sure I will enjoy riding ,talking ,advising and being advised on trials - forum as the site has so many great functions .

    Jack.

  11. Can't you just tap and die it ? Not an expert on the subject but when my threds go that's what I do , but not sure if they do one as big as a fork .but its worth going to halfords or any shop like that an enquirer about it this way you don't have to buy new forks.

hope you get on ok with it

    Jack
