  1. pretty top i'd say althought the parrot come on that wasnt trials that was road cycling...lol
  2. i havent had a look but maybe try chain reaction cycles as they usually have loads of parts but unfortunately tartybikes dont sell the marta levers...
  3. what's the difference between an essex girl and a fridge? the fridge doesn't fart when you pull your meat out.....
  4. The question about the tar, I'd say the best way i've found to use it is to get the wheel spinning really fast, then literally just push the block of tar against the rim, the friction of the wheel should easily melt the tar on the rim. About undoing the allen bolt, if there's any bolt sticking out just get a pair of vice-grips or some kind of locking pliers to hold onto it. Then the pads may well be held with a little bit of magnetism but just pull them out and re-do the process backwards....
  5. Hi there, it's always good to see new people i suppose. Jack P.S Welcome.
  6. Well personally, i'd suggest the try-all tyre that they sell at tartysbikes. I have one on my mod bike and it's the best tyre i've used so maybe have a look at one???
  7. Hi there, I was in the same sort of position as you, I had become reasonably good and decided that an upgrade was in order. My friend had a zona zip so the first thing i did was have a go on it, after about 5 minutes i was doing gaps i had never done before, it really took a beating, so i decided i would buy one. I've had mine for about 3 months now and the only downside is that it is slightly heavier than most mods, but for a beginner it's absolutely perfect. One piece of advice i would give though is to try lots of different bikes to find the one that suits your style best, but afterall if youve got your heart set on one, go and buy one!!!
  8. Aah this is bringing back so many childhood memories, I remember one which no-one has said yet. Does any-one remember WWE+WWF the litle action figures you could get, not that i ever had any!!!
  9. Hello, I've thought long and hard (no, not what your thinking!!!) abouth resraying my Zona Zip. I have finally decided to go ahead and spray it white, I will also be buying the white try-all wheels off Tartybikes, but one thing i was wondering is, where to get the Zona Zip stickers from? If anybody has any info please help me out and i will very thankful for any help.
  10. Hello, I had the same predicament a few months ago, i didn't have an awful lot of cash to spend and was looking at similar bikes to you. I found that one of the best and cheapest bikes available was the zona zip. I went ahead and bought it, i've never looked back since. What i've found with this bike is that it may not be the lightest bike on the market, but it sure is one of the best for the price. I bought my zona zip for only £300 posted, this tells you what you really can find for that sort of price, also the spec is awesome as well, so my advice would be to buy a zona. Not to be one sided though, I have had a few rides on a monty 221pr and i found the standover height a little too high in my opinion. Hope that may have cleared up a few things.
  11. i would personally go with a tensile but a friend of mine who i ride with just bought a white industries freewheel and that is awesome but they are very expensive like £65 from tartybikes, so id say tensile............
  12. yeh thanks guys ive got loads of good feedback there, what do you think about spraying it in a shiny white? not sure yet but some that ive seen look really clean and classy. WRITE BACK WITH YOUR FEEDBACK...........
  13. hi there, just really wondering if respraying a stock onza t-rex would be worth the hassle of doing it all and stripping it down............ your thoughts please, and if you have any ideas which colour scheme to go for, many thanks...........
