  3. Get Blues on a decent grind and you wont be dissapointed. Tremendous pads. Really loud and bitey. Get them.
  4. Alright, Basically i bought an ipod off him a fair while ago. Since ive been banned i cant pm him so i need his mobile number, ive left a comment on his profile but people dont really check them that often. He earlier this week that he was going to send it off. But still no sign of it. thanks.
  5. Hi guys, Basically ive bought a try-all rim and i know grinds dont last long on them and i dont want to grind it too many times and make the sidewalls thin, i want this rim to last a while so ive been thinking about running some pads on a dead grind, atm i have coust sinks which dont work on a dead grind. So what have you guys tried that work on a dead grind possibly with a little tar, I did run heatsink snowys before on a dead grind but im not sure if they've changed the compound. Anyway, Fire away Thanks.
  6. Get a set of urbans luke, then you can have the choice of having disc or magura, with zoos you can only have disc only or maggie only.
  7. monty foam grips are horrible there way to thin, if you want good foam grips get trial tech ones there much thicker.
  8. Ive used vee and magura on the front both with plazmatic pads on a smooth rim, and i would recommend going for a magura, my vee brake was awful, it lacked in everything. Power, Hold, Bite and the lever felt horrible. It was impossible to set up, the left hand arm always rubbed on the rim. I had this set up with my vee. Shimano Xl 2008 arms, Plaz crv's, Oddessy Slic linear Cable and a Avid sd7 lever. All of it was brand new. So basically in my view these are the pros and cons of both. Vee Pros: Umm. Vee Cons: Hard to set up, Pads wouldn't hit square, Awful feel to the lever, Awful hold, power and bite. Magura Pros Easy to set up, Better lever feel, More power and you can have modulation, More choice of pads. Magura Cons : Can snap hoses, Can crack slaves and lever body. Tpas break, May freeze in the winter if you use a water bleed. Hope this helps.
