  3. Hi Charlie, ive been reading through your topic on here, and i know what it feels like to do what you are trying to do. i feel that people have been fairly out of order with the replys. after all if you gun this guy untill he bursts he will give in, you will get what you want! most of the time i ride in a small town in the south east called herne bay, we are absolutlly fed up with the police now. to the point where its deppressing tht we cant ride our bikes anywere. we decided that it was time to do somthing about it. so one of the mums came down and got pasers by to share there opinions on "riding" and get them to sign our partition, by the end of the day, we had around 20 pages of signitures. them we rang the 'herne bay times' and asked they to come down and take pictures, and share our problem/story with the public. they said NO! they thought that getting what we wanted was stupid and would never get it. this mad us really anoyed. we marched down to their office with all the hs33's and tar we could recruit, and we mad as much noise as possible they came out a said 'ok we will do it' they came down took lots of photos, took a photo of all the signitures, interviewed 'james sheridan' and others. the next week we had a good 2 pages slab bang in the middle of the paper, telling people about our problem. we then got a phone call from the council saying 'we would like to persue your case' and there you have it working progress is starting somtime in the summer. see. i depends how much you really want somthing. you will get it if you really want it

  13. there crap they make you brake worse and look sick
  14. the thing is it doesnt thats what they make you think boosters give it better hold, but it bites slower
  15. i run onza citurus, on a painted rim, which is known as the worst rim condition to run a hs33 on, yes it works better with tar, but even when i dont use it, its amazing it holds right on the edge, . the point that i am trying to prove, is that every one spends all this money on knew cylinders, blades, pads etc, cause they think that performance is going to be enhanced, its not. i went from disk to maggie, most people would spend about 100 pounds on getting the perfect rim brake set up, I PICKED UP A RACELINE FOR A 5 QUID, PICKED UP SO ONZA CITRUS FOR 5QUID and that was it not grind, 10 pounds and 100 theres a big diffrence.
  16. i really dont sam back me up on this
  17. hi mate, first of all, that sounds painful, an idea im gonna let you know of here was nicked from my mate lol, but on the road racebikes, where the bars sort of curl down and back towaarrds you, on this section of the grip they use foam but really thick foam, this is so comfortable, and i defanitlly recomended, you can normally get this in your local bike shop, or in halfords do it, both bars for a fiver i think this will cut in half to make two sets of grips
  18. hi mate, nice materials you got there, what me and my mate did todday, was used telegraph poles to bridge the gap between two towers of pallets, this is good to cycle along, balance, it doesnt have to be very high, the other thing is, we made a tower of pallets about 3 high, and suspended a telegraph pole about 3 foot of the ground, bolted to two logs, this is very good to gap to. well instead of using telegraph poles, you can use railway sleepers, these will do the job the same, if not better, these are only of the top of the head ideas, but with the materials you have got you can let your imagination go wild and create any number of thing, if you put your mind to it, good luck
