That really is amazing, what a nutter. Matt
  3. Here is a short video of my family messing around riding trials in our back garden. I am not in it as I havn't got my mod built yet. Just a fun couple of days when the rain stopped. In this video: Matt my bloke, Curtis,Owain my kids and video played out by Nick Patience (Idlhans) Music: Grazed Knees by Snow Patrol. Messing around in the garden. Kat xx
  4. Here is the base of my new mod. It's an onza something but I don't know what. It's Ozzy's old frame if that helps. So far I have a frame a monty bottom bracket thingy and a monty bash guard (donated by my brother. Anyway what I need to know first is what gearing should I have on a mod because I havn't a clue. I have some middleburn cranks but they are 170mm which Matt says he thinks are too long. What do you think? If I need new cranks I will be having a front freewheel so can someone help me out with gearing from the cranks back. Thanks guys Kat
  5. Here is a crappy video of me attempting to "bonk" the front wheel on a low object. As you can see I am failing miserably and just end up clearing it to the back wheel. Any ideas where I am going wrong, apart from the obvious that I am not hitting the front wheel. Do you think I am: A: going too slow B: going too fast C: Pedaling to early D: Not getting forward enough E: Just being a minge F: Something elsecompletely By the way I am crapping myself throughout this video cos my front brake has not turned up yet, which is really putting me off, I didn't realize how much I used a front brake until I didn't have one Shite bag Thanks Matt Edit: For f**ks sake log off when you finish Kath! Oh well too late now.
  6. No I havn't I'm afraid I'm way too much of a beginner for that! I'm usually the one behind the camera. Anyway back on topic, how about this bike. Bike for sale on forum. Simpson, Matt says your opinion can generally be good advice, what do you think? What do other people think. It's a bit expensive maybe, I might trash it! I'm concerned about the back disc, I love the color though! On the other hand it would clash with my helmet- LOL
  7. Thanks for all your replies much appreciated, will try all suggested xx
  8. Hello Nick! Yes there is, I've seen Matt posting on it. I think it's in the full members bit though. Kat
  9. I'm finding it really hard to learn stuff. I ride a 26" bike which is pretty light but am still finding it difficult to move the bike about. I can get up small stuff, up to about 18" by putting my front wheel up first and then the back, and can balance pretty well going slow and when stopped but I can't get hops and stuff going. I am 5'3" and weigh about 7.5 stone. I don't know if this makes a difference as my youngest boy is only 8 and really small and he is learning stuff really quickly. Any help or opinions would be good. Kat
  10. I got into trials because my boyf and kids do it.

My bike is based around an Onza spyrogyra frame with better stuff on it.

  11. Hi more girls hoorah. I have an Onza T Bird at mo, tried a 24" zoot which was too heavy, tried 26" too big, so im using my oldest sons t bird to see if that is any good. Trials is a good laugh once you get into it. I started about 6 months ago, and i can do a few things, track stands, balance beams, wheelie, endos and zap tap up things about 18-20" high. Finding somethings pretty tough because im only small and strength is an issue, but hey these things come with time. Have fun xxx
