As above with a few changes: Nitro morse 600 paper Acid etch primer 1 coat flash it off with heat gun 2 coats of black (matt) leave for about 10 mins between coats Chuck on some laquer use halfords clear laquer DO NOT LEAVE 30 MINS BETWEEN COATS just flash it off with a heat gun between coats Dry completely with a heat gun (About 10 mins tops) leave for 48 hrs Build wheel. I'm not on about me, I do plenty of high impact sports, kickboxing, mountain biking, horse riding and a bit of freerunning (Pakour) so no manning up needed here thanks. Are you all the girls in the world or do you have acces to their minds? I havn't either but have eyes that see and ears that listen. If in fact you ride trials and see other people doing stuff and go to yourself, I could do that too then congratulations you are one of the minority and have grown up with this bonus. The vast majority of girls will think this way about trials, I am not talking about girls that already ride I am talking about girls generally. It is not a case of just 'manning up' it is the way scociety generally has programmed girls traditionally. I believe this is slowly changeing but there is a hell of alot to do to catch up with boys. Which could be why you think that way. Indeed it can be no other case as the evident points it out clearly, there are less girls riding trials, there are percentage wise less girls doing almost all of these types of sports. Do you also have a answer why there are less female trials riders?

In answer to the original question, yes there are girls that ride trials just the same as there are girls that ride downhill, BMX, road, 4x and hobos round the back of spar. Why you want to know? I think there is not so many because you have to be pretty strong to do trials and able to take the knocks when you f**k up which frankly puts me off sometimes as well. Also trials is not really a mainstream sport and girls aren't really exposed to sport as much as boys so are less likely to even know what trials is. Another reason is psychological, if a boy sees someone doing something amazing on a trials bike they think 'wow I would love to be able to do that' whereas a girl would more likely think 'I could never do that' this can only be remedied by female rolemodels in the sport and there arn't really many of them. Sexism of a different kind (not the ribbing kind) has an effect. A few years back my oldest son and his mate were into the idea of motocross so they both got little motocross bikes (KX 80's). His best mate is a right wuss and was really crap, but one day his sister had a go on his bike and was awesome, a real naturel rider, but her father wouldn't let her ride it purely because she was a girl, girls are just not encouraged enough by parents or even sport companies to start anything other than athletics or tennis. I wouldn't have known what it is if my boyf and kids weren't into it.

Um there are trials obsacles in my kitchen.................................. There are girls riding trials but they just don't really bother posting on here because of this sort of bolloxs.

Yes he did run flats but that has nothing to do with it. Riser bars are way better than flats with a long stem because: A: It is way more comfortable and better on your wrists and general musculature. B: You have more adjustment with risers by tilting them back and forward. Flats will probably die off except for the hardcore fans of them, but they will probably be back also. Thanks for your nice replies. Curtis is really into riding his bike and seems to me he was born with wheels. He'll try anything pretty much, and usually pulls it off. Owains pretty good too but not so into trials, so he doesn't ride so much, I havn't got pictures of him trackstanding and going on balance beams but he can pretty much ride along anything he can fit his tyre on, that bike is too big for him really so maybe a mod for him too. Having said that he's gonna be bigger than me in no time. He's off to Comp. school today so will probably get into it more, he's bound to meet more trials riders there. Anyway glad you liked it. Removing the other side is ok too, as long as it is not too stuck. Pump yer pistons in and out before taking the bore cap off, pushing them back carefully with a screwdriver. Take out old pads. Pump yer pistons right out. Squirt oil everwhere. Remove bore cap. Remove first piston. Remove second piston.
